II. Course Description : The course focuses on the fundamentals and principles of electricity and electronics and their application. Problem solving, experimentation, repair work and
maintenance of electrical appliances and devices are some of the featured activity of the course with due precautionary measures.
III. General Objectives : At the end of the semester, the student should be able to
1. Acquire the basic knowledge of the facts, laws and theories of electricity and electronics.
2. Apply this basic knowledge to related sciences.
3. Solve problems in electricity, magnetism and electronics.
4. Apply basic laboratory skills in the performance of laboratory experiments and scientific method in problem solving.
5. Explain several physical phenomena in nature.
