WEEKLY DIARY

FIRST WEEK

In our first day the we met the manager of the establishment and
she oriented us about the task and choirs inside the hotel and
restaurant. After that we start to help them such as cleaning
rooms (ROOM SERVICE), prepare and serve food to guest
(FOOD ATTENDANT).

SECOND WEEK

I went to hotel at 8am to start my work in housekeeping or room


service wherein I help to clean rooms, comfort room, stairs and by
10 am to 1 pm in the restaurant to help them to prepare and serve
food to guest, was plates and etc.
WEEKLY DIARY

We assigned in Sabine’s place for work immersion as a


requirement for graduation in Senior High School particular in
Grade 12, we have to complete a 80 hours. Work immersion on
the working establishment we assigned. The school of MNCHS
annex campus one who choose working establishment through a
letter to processes.

November 25, 2019 the first day of our work immersion the
oriented about the rules an regulation inside the establishment,
but I guess it easy for me because I have a little bit knowledge
about presenting the food or serve to the guest and also
communication in 1st day until to 5 days was done in 1 week.

November 30 to December 5, 2019 second week and the last day


as a work immersion trainee, serving in the room service that we
glad to experience that I will treasure most on that time. I’m happy
to gain more and more knowledge about services inside the
establishment I am thankful because a lot of experience in
Sabine’s place, and now I’m willing to learn more for the future.
REFLECTION ON WORK IMMERSION

Work Immersion is one of the most memorable in my senior


high school life. it’s a privilege and honor for me to experience on
job training presently called work immersion, it challenge me how
strong am I and determined to do such job as student in a certain
establishment as this, we are required to work 80 hours as a
requirement to be able to graduate in senior high school. During
my first day in service in Sabine’s Place where I am assigned to
work. We are being oriented by the manager about the roles that
we need to be aware inside the establishment, and such way I
was able to feel accepted a in one of their coworker. It was being
discussed also by the manager what we need to do with our
vacant time, it should be used to work in hotel for maintaining
cleanliness in side. I am also trained how to deal with the
customers and trained also that as work, another work is being
assigned not to waste the time. As a worker patience and love of
work is being developed with in me.

Everything being taught by Sir Kenneth Lim in our


specialization was being applied by me during work immersion.
During that period I was confortable and adjusted in working, on
December 5, 2019 the day of our departure because on job
training, I am grateful to Sabine’s Place management and to my
coworker or staffs because it my stay there marks a great
challenge and experience in my life. To the manager of Sabine’s
place, my classmate, and for my teacher sir Kenneth Lim I am
looking forward for your been a part of my experience in my on
job training fulfillment. Thank you so much.
REFLECTION

In the first day of work immersion in Treasure Island hotel I felt


nervous because working inside the hotel is not easy especially in
chinese restaurant but I have to do my best to gain more
knowledge and to graduate

In our first day the owner said that they need to teach us the
choirs inside the hotel and to handle tasks in a right way. The
manager guide us in doing everything she teach us how to
communicate to our guest or customer, right way of serving food
as well as to bus out utensils from

In my two weeks working together with the staffs of Treasure


Island I can say that being an employee is not easy but I enjoy
and I learned a lot of things and I’m so thankful because I
overcome my fear and I finish my work immersion.
