STEPS IN CREATING YOUR BIOLOGY VLOG 1. Review your flow and content. Follow the content standards below: a. Introduction i. Introduce yourself in any creative way possible, just be you – be sure to include your Name, Nickname, Age, Grade and Section ii. Short description of being a Biology student. – you may add the length of being a student of Sir James, and how is it going for you so far? b. Body i. What is life for you and can all these topics be relevant to you as a student, as a person and as part of the living organism on earth? ii. What are your takeaways from all the topics discussed in Biology 9? iii. What are the things that you would like to share to your friends, classmates, neighbors or parents as you learn Biology? c. Closing i. What else do you think is needed so that Biology will be a subject with which students would enjoy? ii. If given a chance to talk to the next generation, what will you tell them of the value and relevance of learning Biological concepts and principle? iii. What is your message to Sir James as your mentor and teacher? iv. End your vlog with an amazing unique personal phrase that you would to be remembered about. 2. Start with your vlogging camera. You can use your camera phones as long as the video output follows the standards for rating. 3. Film your Vlog. Here are some tips for recording your first vlog: a. Don’t overthink it, relax. b. Look for good lighting and make sure you can record a good audio quality. c. Interact with your viewer. d. Sign off with a unique personal phrase. 4. Edit you Vlog. You can use iMovie for iPhones or Apples Computers or Windows Live Movie Maker for Windows Computer. You can also use apps for video editing that is available in PlayStore or in App Store. 5. Compare and review your Vlog using the rubrics before forwarding it to the Class President. 6. Submit your Vlog for compilation to your Class President. 7. Class President should submit the edited and final video file to jamesryanduque@gmail.com on or before the submission date.
