Spelling rules for verbs conjugated

1.- For most verbs:


ADD -s (speaks, lives, understands…)

2.- For verbs ending in -ss, -x, -ch, -sh, -z, or -o preceded by a consonant:
ADD -es (passes, fixes, watches, wishes, buzzes, goes…)

3.- For verbs ending in Consonant + Y:


REMOVE the «Y» and ADD «IES» (study -> studies, deny -> denies…)

4.- The verb TO HAVE is irregular for the 3rd person singular: (has)

For repeated or recurrent actions such as habits and routines
that normally include adverbs (or adverbial phrases) of repeated time.
