En el presente simple, tercera persona singular los verbos llevan una “s” al final.

She plays… (not “She play…”)
It rains… (not “It rain…”)
Phillip lives… (not “Phillip live…”)

►A los verbos que terminan con -s / -ch / -sh se añade “es” al final

►Cuando un verbo termina con consolante + “y”, cambiamos la y por “i” y añadimos “es”.

►Usamos el presente simple para verdades generales, o cosas que pasan habitualmente.
He works at IBM.
Él trabaja en IBM.
We study law.
Estudiamos derecho.
She speaks English and Spanish.
Ella habla ingles y español.
►Usamos el presente simple con always / never / often / sometimes / usually.
always = siempre He always gets up at 7 o’clock.
Él siempre se levanta a las 7 horas.
