II. Study Background
A.) LLC Restaurant began in Butuan City Area, when Mr. Cagadas, Mr. Lagonoy
and Ms. Anobong founded a small restaurant in Butuan City.
The reason they build this company is to Make Money, To do things better, and
to build a source of pride. The money we invested for the business is ₱300000.
B.) Mission - is to provide a unique and relaxing dining experience – similar to dining at
home. We will strive to achieve this goal by:
1) by providing menu items incorporating quality ingredients at reasonable prices,
2) we will be mindful of the well being of our customers and staff treating each and
everyone with dignity and respect
Vision - to establish a presence as a successful restaurant and gain market share in
Philippines Food Industry.
- to expand into a number of outlets in the future.

c.) Products and Services - The LLC restaurant offers a breakfast and lunch menu,
fresh cold cuts, drinks, and take-out prepared dishes.

Breakfast will include such items:

III. Macroenvironment Analysis


A.) Economic - The country’s food service industry has continued to improve over the
past years due to the stronger consumers’ purchasing power, influenced by today’s fast-
paced lifestyle. Food service players are increasing their network to cater to more
Filipinos who demand for more convenience.

Different types of food establishments are being set-up across the country to provide
Filipino consumers with their needs. Based on the final results of the 2015 Annual
Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (ASPBI) released by the Philippine Statistics
Authority (PSA) last October, a total of 27,028 establishments in the formal sector of the
economy were engaged in accommodation and food service activities.

Restaurants led the sector with 6,652 establishments, which accounted for 24.6% of the
total number of establishments. Fast food chains ranked second with 4,477
establishments (16.6%), followed by refreshment stands, kiosks and counters with
3,772 establishments (14%).

Other industries with more than a thousand number of establishments include cafeterias
with 3,748 establishments, hotels and motels with 2,276 establishments, bars and
cocktail lounges with 1,445 establishments, and other restaurants and mobile food
service activities with 1,353 establishments.

A. Market Size
LLC restaurant costumer base in Butuan is comprised of five target groups.

 Employee
 Local Residents

Tourist – More than 100,000 tourist visit Butuan City every year. Most of them will pass
LLC restaurant.

Local Residents – There are almost 500,000 people who lived in Butuan City, and have
works.

Employees – Many government offices also located near LLC restaurant. And eat here
for lunch.

Travellers – More than 1 million travelers auto trips the city. Many of these travelers will
stop for a meal
