16 Bit Micropocessor
16 Bit Micropocessor
invented by Engr. Diosdado “Dado” Banatao from Iguig, Cagayan which is still widely
used by computers today, the 16-bit microprocessor or microchip utilizes graphical
user interface accelerator that made computers work a lot faster. This invention has
allowed computer users to use graphics for commands and not the usual typed
commands in older computers. It has allowed data processing to be a little faster
using very little space. Engr. Banatao wasn't just able to reduce or compress 300
components into three with that computer chip but also able to lower the
production cost of computers also with the help of the microchip portable
computers or laptops were innovated.
