Mahatma Gandhi: Hello Mr. Hitler.

Hitler: Hello, Mr. Gandhi.

Mahatma Gandhi: It is such a pleasure to meet a personality like you in person.

Hitler: The pleasure is mine. I had been looking forward to meet you. I am well aware
your way of fighting is quite different. You prefer protesting non-violently! Do you
really think the British will grant you freedom through non-violence?

Mahatma Gandhi: Well, I have firm belief in my ideology and philosophy. I have always
felt to suggest to you to try non-violent methods in sorting out German issues with
other countries. Why do you trust so much the use of force?

Hitler: I believe some issues cannot be solved without using force. Germany had been
wronged so much. The Treaty of Versailles was unfair. All the other powerful countries
linked and made terms and conditions against Germany. Germany had to bear so much
loss! Do you think these countries could have been spared?

Mahatma Gandhi: Everyone has the freedom to follow one's heart. But don't you think
you are doing something morally wrong? I actually practice what everyone taught in my
freedom movements.

Hitler: I agree with you. I believe change can only be brought through force. But still I
think using force is the way we get our freedom. Begging or talking with them won’t
help to regain what is ours if they tell us to sit simply and do what they want us to do.
Right?

Gandhi: It is true but think in point of people’s views. They will decide something
which is better than going and attacking and making children train for military. They
too have dreams which they want to do, if you were the child who was training for
military, would you be happy about it?

Hitler: You’re absolutely right, I wouldn’t be happy. Thank you for making me
understand what is right and what is wrong. Now I must go back and make changes in
the system.
