I am writing in regards of the open position available at your school as an English high
school teacher. I found out about this job opportunity through a friend who works for the
company. I am interested in this position because I want to be an English Teacher.
Furthermore, I heard that the working at this high school is a one-of-a-kind experience. It
seems like a great school and I would like to become one of your staff.

The skills that I have that would make me successful for this job are that I'm bilingual, patient,
kind, considerate and friendly. The experience that I have is that I used to mentor students
during my free time. For example, when I used to mentor students I would first check on their
grades to see where they were at and what they areas they needed help in. Then, I would help
them work on an assignment in order to get their grades up. I believe that my skills and
experience of mentoring will make me excellent for the job.
