An Humidity test chamber

artificially replicates the

conditions under which
machinery, materials, devices
or components might be
exposed. It is also used to
accelerate the effects of
exposure to the environment,
sometimes at conditions not
actually expected.
These conditions may include:

 extreme temperatures
 sudden and extreme temperature variations - thermal shock
 altitude
 moisture or relative humidity
 electrodynamic vibrations
 electromagnetic radiation
 Cyclic corrosion testing
 salt spray
 rain
 weathering
 exposure to sun, causing UV degradation
 vacuum
 Manufactured samples, specimens, or components are placed inside
the chamber and subjected to one or more of these environmental
parameters to determine reliability or measure after-effects such as
corrosion. In the case of machinery such as internal combustion
engines, byproducts such as emissions are monitored.
 Mechanically cooled test chambers
 Liquid nitrogen cooled test chambers
 Modular Walk-in Chambers

 An Humidity chamber can be a small room used both

to condition test specimens and to conduct the test. It
can be a smaller unit that's used for conditioning test
items. Also, some chambers are small enough to be
placed onto a universal testing machine or other test
apparatus.

 Many chambers are set at a certain set of conditions.

Others can be programmed to cycle through specified
sequences of conditions.
Humidity Chambers can simulate both
temperature and humidity. Controlled humidity
from 10% RH to 95% RH can be maintained
within the dry-bulb temperature range of +10°C
to +85°C, limited by a 6°C dew point. For lower
dew point conditions (low RH or relative
humidity at low dry-bulb temperatures), you
will need dry air purge or GN2 (gaseous
nitrogen) purge. See the humidity range chart on
the specification page of each temperature-
humidity chamber for humidity range limits
 Double walled construction with backside triple.
 3” Thick PUF Insulation ensures stable temperature with humidity &
reduced energy consumption.
 Motorized Blower at back side of the chamber develops unique air flow
system which ensures maximum uniform temperature & humidity
condition inside the chamber.Unique air flow assures quick recovery after
door openings.
 1/12 HP, TEFC , F-class insulation, Single phase, 1440 RPM, 230 Volts
 High quality U shape S.S. Tubular Heaters are used for better heating.
 Steam injection system (Non condensing type) & reservoir tank with
water level arrangement with indicator.
 Temperature Control
 Temperature Control : By means of Imported Microprocessor based auto
tuned PID controller with CE mark & dual display of set value & process
value.
 Humidity Control
 Humidity Control & Sensing : By means of Imported Microprocessor
based auto tuned PID controller with CE mark & dual display of set value
