Air pollution poses a serious health risk in many cities.

However, specific solutions are within

reach.

Automobiles are the primary source for air pollution. Many cities around the world are exceeding

air pollution limits. To tackle this problem, some cities such as Madrid are banning diesel cars

from city centres to improve the air quality.

Another measure to be taken has to do with CO2 factory emissions. Governments should take

action and impose stricter controls on factories fining those which fail to reduce their emissions.

A further step has to do with individual action. We can all contribute to air quality improvement

by making use of public transport whenever possible. By doing so, we will not only improve air

quality in city centres but in general.

On balance it is essential to reduce CO2 emissions on cars and factories to deal with air

pollution. And as far a both individuals and governments get involved, we will definitely succeed.
