 Introduction

A.Saadat & Co., Consulting Engineers, was established in 1962. It is

staffed by qualified and experienced Professional Engineers who have worked in USA,
UK, Europe and Middle East.
The main fields of professional services rendered are listed below.
Projects handled include internal and external services for all types of Buildings and
campuses, industrial and commercial complexes, including multi-storey office
buildings, institutional buildings, University Campuses, computer centres, hospitals &
medical colleges, hotels, cinema auditoriums, Television and Radio Broadcasting
Centres, Laboratories for special research and development, airports, industrial units
including Pharmaceuticals Production units, cotton and synthetic fibre yarn spinning
and weaving units, paints manufacturing, etc.
Mr.Anwar Saadat, Principal of the Company has been associated with
HVACR (Heating, Ventilating, Airconditioning, Refrigeration), Mechanical and Electrical
Services for various types of Buildings since 1950. He completed B.Sc. Honours
(Engineering)from The Punjab College Of Engineering & Technology, Lahore (now
University Of Engineering & Technology, Lahore). He topped the list in 1949 in The
Punjab University and was awarded Gold Medal. He worked with a HVACR Contracting
Firm before leaving for UK on a British Industries Federation 2 years scholarship.
During 1952-58, he completed a post graduate course in HVACR Engineering from The
National College Of Heating, Ventilating, Refrigeration and Fan Engineering, London
(now Institute Of Environmental Engineering, South Bank University), obtained
training and worked in UK, Belgium and USA with HVACR Equipment Manufacturers.
On returning to Pakistan, he worked as Chief Engineer of a HVACR Contracting Firm
till 1962, when he started practicing as a Consulting Engineer.
In consideration of services rendered by him to HVACR Engineering
in the country, he was elected in 1996 as Founder President of Pakistan HVACR
Society. He was elected Vice President of Association of Consulting Engineers Pakistan
in 1990, 1995, 1997 and 2001.

& Co., Consulting Engineers. He has been practicing as a Consulting Engineer for
Airconditioning, Ventilation, Refrigeration, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical
Services for Commercial, Industrial and Institutional Buildings since 1962. He has
been associated as a Consulting Engineer with a great majority of notable Projects
executed in the country. These include Pakistan Secretariat Buildings and National
Assembly Building, Islamabad, Wapda House,Lahore, various Buildings of National
Bank of Pakistan, various Buildings of State Life Insurance Corporation, various
Broadcasting Studios and Transmitter Stations of Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation,

He has a wide ranging professional career of over 32 years, having obtained his
Engineering Degree in 1977 from The Punjab University, Lahore. He is a registered
Professional Engineer with Pakistan Engineering Council.

He joined A.Saadat & Co. in 1988 and has been responsible for designing of
HVACR, Mechanical & Plumbing Systems, preparation of working drawings,
specifications, BOQ and tender documents, and top supervision of the work of the
Contractors.

He has been associated with a number of notable Projects including 300 Room
Extension of Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore, new Campus of Lahore University of
Management Sciences, Lahore, Production and other facilities of multi national
Pharmaceutical Companies such as GlaxoSmithKline Pakistan Ltd., Aventis Pakistan
Ltd. & Barrett Hodgson Pakistan Ltd., multi storey office buildings and industrial
units. His responsibilities include coordination with Owners, Architects and other
Consultants for the Project and supervision of the work of Engineers &
Draughtsmen of his Group.
