1. Let the students view the video COPYCAT: Philippine Tourism Ad and
South Africa Tourism Ad.
2. After viewing, divide the class into six (6) groups.
3. Make a research on the background information about the Philippine Tourism
ad aired on June 2017 and the South Africa Tourism Ad. Make sure to write
the sources of your research.
4. Share the information you have searched with the group. Figure out how to
adapt this information into the format of a talk show.
5. Write the talk show’s script together, ensuring you tackled the issues, and use
the format to bring in other insights, such as interview, news footage, and the
like.
6. Make sure that at the end of the talk show, the review or critique of your
adapted papers is clear, and that the audience should get some insights from
the portrayal of the video critique.
7. The use of props and costume is encouraged.
8. Stage the talk show and enjoy watching other groups’ performances.
9. The group performance will be graded using a rubric. See attached.
