ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES

For me when we talk about mental health it is a very serious and sensitive topic that

sometimes people do not want to talk about or ignore. We are all involved, all of us can

possibly feel depression and stress, and it is not easy to deal with it. Being alone and far

from your family and friends could lead into depression, sometimes our mood suddenly

changed, and some people cannot understand why you are acting weird. A lot of people

are suffering from anxiety and depression because of their issues and problems in life. It

is good to know that there are still people who are sharing their thoughts about mental

health. People whose concern to others especially to the students on what to do when

they are depressed. We should never ignore someone who is suffering from anxiety and

depression because it is an actual condition. And yes, it is true that when you are

depressed you are seeking attention, care and love from those people you wanted to

notice you. You want them to know that you are existing. And it is not easy to catch their

attention, sometimes they think that you are pretending that you are not fine. Anxiety is

not a joke, it is real! And we cannot control it, especially our emotions. Loneliness makes

you feel empty, makes you feel weak and can lead you to sickness. It is not easy to share

what you really feel because trust is important, and if you are depressed it’s not easy to

trust people. Nowadays not all can understand people who are suffering from anxiety.

Some of them just want to get information about you. People who are dealing with anxiety

or depression are looking for someone who is willing to listen to their sentiments in life,

someone they can truly trust and to talk to, someone who’s going to accompany them in

good and in bad times.


In my understanding we should be more sensitive to treat people with anxiety whoever

they are, because we do not know what they are dealing with. We should avoid judging

someone based on their looks and their behavior. We should never ignore them, instead

of being more understanding! understanding enough to understand that we are not strong

and happy every day. Life goes up and downs, life has a lot of surprises. In order to live

we must accept that failure is a part of our life. It is a challenge for us to survive. And do

not be afraid to ask help from others, it is ok to cry and act like a baby if it makes you feel

better. Remind yourself that you are blessed that you have the chance to live every day.

Always be kind and humble even though you do not know the person. Give help and time

to listen to those who want you to be by their side especially when your family and friends

are involved. And mostly have faith and love yourself, that’s the best thing to take care of

yourself.
