IT WAS MARK ZUCKERBERG WHO INVENTED THE FACEBOOK APP, WHEN HE WAS A PSYCHOLGY
AND IT STUDENT AT HARVARD UNIVERSITY. IT BECOMES POPULAR WORLDWIDE, PEOLPLE
STARTED POSTING PHOTOS, STATUS, AND VIDEOS. CYBERBULLYING BECOMES MORE AND MORE
POWERFULWHEN OTHER POPULAR APPS LIKE TWITTER, INSTAGRAM ETC… HAD LAUNCHED. THE
CAPABILITIES TO VICTIMIZE AND TO BE A VICTIM WIDENED. EVEN IN SHOWBIZ, POLITICS AND
OTHER FIELDS, CYBERBULLYING WAS HAPPENING. THIS GENERATION IS GROWING UP IN THE
WORLD THAT OFFERS THEM INSTANT ACCESS NEARLY EVERYWHERE TO HUGE AMOUNT OF
HUMAN KNOWLEDGE. HOWEVER, WHILE THE RESEARCH FIELD OF CYBERBULLYING IS GROWING
MORE CRITICAL STUDIES ARE APPEARING ABOUT THE UNIQUENESS OF CYBERBULLYING. DOING
THIS KIND OS RESEARCH WILL GIVE YOU THROUGH OVERVIEW ON HOW WILL YOU BECOME
AWARE IN THIS KIND OF ISSUE.

IN TODAY’S TIME CYBERBULLYING IS ANORMAL HUMAN AFFAIR. ONE OF ITS EXAMPLE IS THE
DISPERSION OF VARIOUS MEMES. THE PURPOSE OF THIS REASEARCH IS TO EDUCATE EVERYONE
TO CHANGE THE WRONG CULTURE OF THIS GENERATION.WE ALSO WANT TO KNOW THE EFFECTS
OF CYBERBULLYING IN THE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF ITS VICTINS AND IN HOW TO DEAL
WITH SUCH INCIDENTS WHO LOOKS LIKE THESE.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDIES:

THIS RESEARCH CAN HELP TEACHERS, LEARNERS AND PARENTS TO DEAL WITH ONE OF THE
ISSUES INVOLVING THE STUDENTS.THIS RESEARCH WAS PROVIDED TO CHANGE THE PERSPECTIVE
OF THE VICTIMS OF CYBERBULLYING SO THAT IT WILL NOT AFFECT THEUR ACADEMIC
PERFORMANCE AT SCHOOL AND IT CAN ALSO BE HELPFUL TO TEACHERS AN PARENTS TO FURHER
ASSIST THEM IN THEIR RECOVERY AFTER THE INCIDENT HAPPENNED.

SCOPES AND LIMITATION:

THIS REASEARCH WAS ALL ABOUT THE VICTIMS OF CYBERBULLYING.THIS STUDY STATED ABOUT
THE VICTIMS TO DEAL WITH THIS ISSUE. IT WAS ON THE EVALUATION OF BN2 GRADE 10
STUDENTS WHO EXPERIENCE CYBERBULLYING. IT INVOLVED THE VIEWPOINTS OF 60
RESPONDENTS WHO WERE SELECTED BY RANDOM SAMPLING.THIS STUDY WAS CONDUCTED BY 1
WEEK.

CONCLUSIONS:

BULLYING AFFECTS MOST OF GRADE 10 STUDENTS OF BN2’S ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE. IT


MAKES THE LIVES OF THOSE WHO BECOME VICTIMS MISERABLE.ACCORDING TO THE STUDY WE
CONDUCTED 35 OUT OF 60 RESPONDENTS CLAIMED THAT THEY EXPERIENCED
CYBERBULLYING.OUR RESEARCH STATED THAT MOST OF THE VICTIMS DROPPED THEUR GRADES
AND SELF ESTEEM AFTER THE INCIDENT HAPPENED.

THE VICTIMS NEED THE MAJOR SUPPORT OF THEUR FRIENDS, TEACHERS, ESPECIALLY THE
PARENTS FOR FASTER RECOVERY.OUR STUDY ALSO REVEALED THAT MANY RESPONDENTS ARE
ALREADY AWARE ON HOW THEY CAN DEAL WITH SUCH INCIDENTS WHO LOOKS LIKE THIS WHEN
THEY BECOME WITNESSES OF CYBERBULLYING.

REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE AND STUDIES:

THERE ARE MANY DEFINITION THAT CAN BE ASSOCIATED WITH CYBERBULLYING. ITS MEANING
DEPENDS UPON THE PERSPECTIVE OF THOSE WHO ARE DEFINING IT.

ACCORDING TO MERRIAM WEBSTER “CYBERBULLING IS THE ELECTRONIC POSTING OF MEAN


SPIRITED MESSAGES ABOUT PERSON OFTEN DONE ANONYMOUSLY.”WHILE OXFORD DICTIONARY
DEFINE CYBERBULLYING BY SENDING MESSAGE OF AN INTIMIDATING OR THREATENING NATURE
USING AN ELECRONIC COMMUNICATION.

UNTIL THE MID -2000’S THRE WERE NO SPECIFIC CYBERBULLYING LAWS. HOWEVER, MOST OF
SCHOOL CAMPUSES HAVE SCHOOL SANCTIONS FOR CYBERBULLYING.
