PROFILE OF SPEAKERS  
Associate Professor Dr. Ahmad Ruslan Mohd. Ridzuan, Mr Lu Jin Ping,
Chairman of President of American Concrete Institute - Singapore Chapter
WG for Revision of MS 29 & MS 30

Apart from the Chairman of WG for Revision of MS 29 & 30, Asso-
ciate Professor Dr. Ahmad Ruslan Mohd. Rizuan has been involved in
numerous committees developing Malaysian Standards in the area of
concrete and concrete products as well as concrete design and struc-
ture.
Dr. Ahmad Ruslan is currently the Vice President for Concrete Soci-
ety of Malaysia and a graduate member of Boards of Engineers Ma-
laysia (BEM) and the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM). He holds a
Bachelor (Hons) in Civil Engineering from University of Glasgow, UK
and a PhD in Concrete Materials. His current research interest in Uni-
versiti Teknologi MARA is on recycled concrete aggregate.
Mr Lu Jin Ping is the technical expert on Aggregates involved in the
development of Singapore Standard (SS) EN 12620. He has been
involved in the development of at least 13 other SS on cement and
concrete. He is also the Lead Auditor for Production Control System of
Ready-Mix Concrete Plants and has inspected and certified over 40
plants in Malaysia and Singapore. Mr Lu also lectured for courses on
concrete technology and Material Recycling for Sustainable Construc-
tion with Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority.
Mr Lu holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Tongji University,
Shanghai and has over 43 publications on cement, concrete and ag-
gregates. He is currently the Executive Director at Admaterials Tech-
nologies Pte. Limited.
