Paying Back the Leader in Me

I think the best leadership experience that I have ever

experienced is not being a president of clubs and organizations, it's
being and feeling to be a true leader.

I felt like a true leader during the 27th YMCA National

Assembly for High School Students. I was elected to be the secretary
of the general plenary and went on to be one of the convener of the
event. In the plenary, I with other elected officers went on to do our
task and lead the students from different regions. Our goal was to
unite and make an advocacy for the youth community that would
benefit not only us but other youths.

It felt great when I was elected as the secretary of the plenary. I

had share some of my insights and inspire other high school student
just like me in pursuing leadership experience. It was not really a thing
for me that I always benefit in being a leader, sometimes it is also a
sacrifice. Imparting this wisdom to potential leaders is one of the most
important aspect of giving back.

The experience was fulfilling and made us an effective leaders.

The success of the event made a symbolic win for me, by giving me
the chance to succeed and to finally realize that I can be a leader but
beforehand, I already know that all of us were leaders on our own
ways.

Although I may not always be in the forefront in everything, I

know that I had influence others and made them realize that they can
too be leaders and give back to others as well. It was an experience
that is worthwhile and very insightful that I would always treasure in
my life. It thought me that giving back is not only physical, it can also
be an act.
