Search Example #1
Task: Nose Landing Gear Tire Removal and Installation on the SA227 Metro aircraft

We will cover two different ways to search for Nose Landing Gear Tire Removal and Installation
• ATA Chapter Search
• Word Search

1. Insert Metro technical manual CD-ROM into the your computer s CD-ROM drive.

2. In Windows 95/98, select the My Computer icon on your desktop.

3. Select and open the Fairchild CD-ROM icon.

4. Select and open the First_xx.pdf file.

5. Click on the Maintenance Manual button. You will notice that the search engine and indexes
will initialize at this time.

PRECAUTIONS

The disk records are on the side opposite the label side. Protect the disk from any scratches, dust particles and e v e r y
kind of smears. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the disk. Do not use solvents. Do not attach labels to either side of the disk.
Use a soft felt tip marker for labeling on the label side of the disk.
