Project Objectives
The main objective of the project is to develop an Computerized Billing
System for Stores . More specifically, the study aims to achieve the following:
- To provide a computer-based billing system for an accurate computation of
bills
- To create a system that will able to produce the report of the transaction
- To generate a receipt when performing a service
- To lessen the time, energy, and resources that was being consumed when
performing a billing for the customers
- To create a system that will help the store process in terms of billing
- To improve the security of the record in database
c. Significance of the Study
The primary significance in this project is to help users to well-organized
every transaction and minimize their workload. Thus, the results of this project
will help:
1. The Customers
The customer will benefit in the system because they will not
experience slow transaction process and a long time waiting for the
calculations for the bills.
2. The Owner
The implementation of this project will enhance the owner’s
transaction and the system will secure all the records of bills in
monthly, weekly and yearly.
3. The Cashier
The main user of the billing system is the cashier. By the help of the
system the cashier will not be using manual calculations anymore
and lessen the human errors.
4. The Researchers
Through this project, the researchers will enhance their knowledge
and skills in any system analysis and make a professional system for
the store that they have chosen.
5. The Future Researchers
The study will serve as their reference for their research activities,
gain knowledge and express their ideas with their chosen study.
