WELCOME! We promote Entrepreneurship, and a Global Perspective for Micro Entrepreneurs. I like to
begin a Home page with a welcome message. However, this sentence seems more of a mission
statement rather than a good headline to begin the page. Instead, you want an interesting headline
here that grabs the attention of your visitor, enough to read the next paragraph, similar to an interesting
magazine article.

At IXGEN, Inc., You already mention the name of your company at the very top of the page. Therefore, I
don’t think you need to begin the opening paragraph with the organization’s name also. When you talk
about yourself (“we”) too much, it sounds rather self-focused, but you want to be other-focused.

we take care to provide you with Entrepreneurs use a variety of our high quality services to help you get
started doing what? Try to be more specific about what entrepreneurs usually reach out to you to do, or
to grow your existing micro or small enterprise. What is the difference between a “micro” and a “small”
business and will your visitor know the difference? If not, you may want to explain this briefly. Make
sure to use language that your visitor will use, not just language that is common in your inner circles. As
a side note, “micro enterprise” is not a phrase I see commonly. We have the ability to increase your
bottom line this is another phrase (bottom line) that I think is overused in business websites. Is there a
simpler way to say this, like “profits”? by offering you access to resources and solutions tailored to meet
your unique needs. You are really important to us, as we couldn't be in business without you.

We are passionate about helping you take your business to the international market place, so we
encourage you as a micro entrepreneur, to take the challenge of expanding your business nationally and
internationally. It seems that you are appealing to two different groups with each of these paragraphs.
In the first, new entrepreneurs who may be at the idea stage, and in the second, established
entrepreneurs who are looking to grow. It could be beneficial to add a subheading to each one to
clearly separate the two.

IXGEN INC, helps you to: Are these meant to be in bullet format? The page doesn’t show
bullets for me.

Turn your Dream into a Business

Become a Successful Entrepreneur

Develop and write your Business Proposals

Access Training, Information, and Resources By “resources” do you mean money? If yes,
could it be better to say “financial resources”?

Go Global, and Much More! What qualifies you to help entrepreneurs to go global? Why
should I listen to you? I hope this will be explained.

Mission these three subheadings are written very much like a business plan. Websites are not usually
arranged in the same way. You want something here that people enjoy reading, which speaks to the
heart of why they are here in the first place. As I mentioned earlier, people care less about you and
more about what’s in it for me. How can you turn the mission, vision, and objectives into exciting talking
points that get the reader enthusiastic about meeting you or attending an event? What is the average
age of the visitor or person interested in your program? What tone does your ideal customer need to
get excited about your programs? If you are appealing to youth, you will need a different look/feel than
if you are appealing to parents of youth, versus if you are looking for sponsors. Consider who you are
talking to before you write the copy and design the page.

IXGEN’s mission is to facilitate access to resources, provide information, technical assistance, training
and other business development support services, to micro and small entrepreneurs to enable them to

‘promoting a global perspective for micro entrepreneurs in the USA and in Africa.

Vision

IXGEN’s vision is to see grassroots women and youth throughout the USA and Africa, create and operate
sustainable micro enterprises beyond borders, with help from local community groups, governmental
and non-governmental agencies, philanthropic foundations, and other private sectors. Also, IXGEN will
promote the need for entrepreneurial education as an integral part of the middle and high school
curricula throughout the USA and Africa. How do you promote the need for entrepreneurial education?

Objectives

Help access opportunities for promising small business owners in under-served communities what
qualifies as an “underserved community”? across the country (countries?) to sustain and grow their
businesses, providing them with training how do you provide training? and resources necessary for
them to succeed and create jobs.

Encourage and facilitate dialogue, trading opportunities, linkages and partnerships among and between
small businesses, support groups, national and international donors, private businesses and financial
institutions in the USA and in Africa. This all sounds very business professional and I wonder who you are
talking to exactly.

Advocate for American women and minority micro and small enterprise owners to get increased
recognition and participation in local government contracting projects.

Encourage and strive to increase the number of American women-owned enterprises that have a global
presence, through travel, awareness, and training. Are you mainly appealing to women? Or men, too?
If also men, then I think you need to mention both. If women, then the way you have it is fine.

Strongly support entrepreneurship education in middle and high schools to help reduce dropout rates,
increase career options, and prepare students for meeting the economic needs of their families and
communities. I may want to know more about the education you offer or support.

Your Success is our Primary Goal!

Another successful turnout of Future Entrepreneurs.

13 high school students completed the 2015 IXGEN Youth Empowerment Program (iYEP). The
entrepreneurship, leadership, and life skills training program targets “targets” is an aggressive word
middle and high school youth, and young adults aged 13-26, The 30-hour Summer Program provides
participants an all-round introduction to creating and managing their own business, learning basic
business principles, and helping them to identify their strengths, and talents and making the best use of
them. In addition Financial Literacy & Money Management, Personal Branding, and the introduction of
STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics), gave them further insight into the
possibilities for entrepreneurship.

In 6 weeks the youth learned that using innate and learned skills, personality, education, commitment,
and other key components can make them much more effective and successful individuals in normal life

and in the world of business. They were encouraged to take inventory of the skills that have brought
them success and satisfaction, and then to look for creative ways to emphasize or maximize them, and
unleash their potential to become entrepreneurs. In effect, help them develop the entrepreneurial
mindset, which equips them for all aspects of work and life.

The Class of 2015 was a culturally diverse group of students originating from several foreign countries,
and the United States, including Burma, Nepal, Thailand, and Ethiopia. Was this the first class you had?
Or have you had others in the past? How long have you been in business? Are you a non-profit
organization? What will this cost me?

Commissioner Sharon Barnes Sutton of DeKalb County District 4, was special guest and keynote speaker
at the graduation ceremony which was held on Saturday August 1, at the Clarkston High School
Cafeteria. The highlight of the event was a business expo at which several of the graduating students as
well as alumni, exhibited products of existing and potential startup businesses. The expo was intended
to inspire other youth to start their own businesses.

Don’t forget to end the page with an interesting call to action, such as, “Want to Start Your Own
Business? Join Us for the Next Youth Expo in December 2016” with a link to find out more, or similar.

In summary, I understand what you offer, but I wonder if there are other groups or organizations that
help entrepreneurs in a similar way that you do. If so, what makes your program and services unique,
better, or different? Tell visitors more about taking business internationally, such as which industries
are opportunities for the future, and why you are the best one to help me, whether a new entrepreneur
or someone who is more established.
