PROCEDURE
1 Using the payroll register for salaried employees , select the high value or key items.

High Value items- pertains to employees with large amount of monthly salary.
Key items- pertains to employees that are member of key management personnel or with unusual amount of salary or may indicate risks of material
misstatement based on professional judgement.

2 Determine the representative population. Representative population is total population less the high value and key items.
3 Determine the additional number of sample size which is equal to representative population divided by performance materiality.
4 The total number of sample size is the high value/key items and additional sample size.
5 Were any of the selected items replaced? If yes, provide details of how many and the reasons (i.e., audit procedure was not applicable to the item).
