Six months of hard work had finally paid off. The moment of her life had come and she was
ready for it. This story is about Alex Morgan, how she became the name that she is today.
Alex Morgan had been trying to regain her ability to play for 2 months. Her team had put her
on the bench because she couldn’t prove her skill in the game. After two months of working in
vain, she contacted the best young player of the world, Kylian Mbappé. The french player, who
was 10 years younger than her, had taught her everything he had knew at that moment.
As soon as the coach gave her the chance to get back in the field, she showed what she could
really accomplish in the match against Thailand, scoring more goals in a World Cup match than
Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.
Nowadays the girls that play football consider Morgan as a legend, those six months of hard
work, and the proper moment that came through were more than enough for Alex to prove that
she is a great player. She felt like nobody could stop her anymore since then.

The disaster

It was a lovely day and Sara was looking forward to the party. The most popular boy in the
high school, Gerard, invited her in the last moment. She managed to get invited because of her
talent to persuade the people really fast. Sara only had to tell Gerard that if he invited her, she
would have done his homework for the rest of the semester.
What Sara did not know was that the party could put her in some troubles. The weather was
perfect, proper to give you a good feeling, more like a party feeling. And there was Sara,
finishing the school day, and coming home to prepare for the great moment. She asked the boy
she had been friends with for nearly six years to drive her to the place. Adam did her the favour
and at 6 p.m. was waiting outside her house in his car.
After that, they arrived at the party where everyone was either drunk or on drugs. It was the
opposite of Sara’s expectations, she felt terrible and, consequently, she wanted to go back home.
But her phone died and Adam was, having a conversation with another girl. Therefore, she stole
an open car and went home, crying, knowing that her party had been a disaster and having to do
Gerard’s homework for three months.
Her feelings were full of sadness, but, happily for Sara, the owner of the car was Gerard, and
she had sold his car before he even noticed.
