In a world full of surpises, our lifes can be interpreted
as one long roller coaster ride, we can`t tell what fate has stored for us, where we are heading, we might even go up, down and in loops without realising what`s happening around us, and when we get close to the end and get the hang of it, only then we realise what we missed off and try to get the best out of what`s remaining. Life is short and it`s up to us to make every bit of it beautiful, and remember it is never too late to do so. In my opinion, we must always stay determined and keep in mind that after every hill we climb there`s hope for the better. In life we tend to forget that success isn`t necessarily achieved only by people with high degrees and a mountain of money, hundereds of celebrities like Leonardo Dicaprio, Steve Jobs, Oprah Winfrey, J. K. Rowling and many more achieved this and we can achieve it as well as long as we are confident enough in ourselves to get up and make something great out of every situation we come across, we also shall not forget the people who had helped us get there. It should be no surprise that if we hide ourselves from our problems like ostriches we`ll only make them worse. They are like fluffy snowballs rolling down a snowy hill, the more you let them go the bigger they get. What we have to do instead is to be creative, check any ideas we might have and try and strike for the core of the problem with our best, and despite how hard we might fail we must not give up, because that will only make us losers. Heroes rise from the ashes of their failings and work harder using the experience they`ve gotten. A very interesting story is that of Douglas Barter, a British RAF flying ace of WW2. He lost both of his legs in 1931 while performing air acrobatiques, and despite doctors telling him he’ll never walk again without a stick, after years of training in his new wood legs he defied all odds by relearning to drive, fly and play golf all without any help and rejoined RAF in 1940 due to his passion for flying. He shot down a total of 22 enemy aircrafts until he was captured by the germans after getting shot down. During his stay in Germany as a war prisonier he tried several times to escape until he was freed in April 1945 by the Allies. We shall take his actions as an exemple of courage and what determination and courage can help us do. Despite what people might think about us or how crazy our plans might be, we must not give up our hopes and dreams. Dozen of geniuses we honour today were considered mad or even crazy back in their days, like Gregor Mendel, Albert Einstein, Frank Whittle and many more, due to thinking outside the box and fighting for their cause. The serbian engineer and physician Nikola Tesla might be one of the best examples of geniuses that were missunderstood. Born in a poor serbian family due to his interest in electricity he worked his way to America and managed to become Edison s partner, but they quickly parted ways so he could develop his AC tehnology which later won agaist Edison s DC and his hydroelectric powerplant design was build. Since then he had ideas for all kinds of inventions using wireless energy, but those were considered too outlandish and unpractical, same technologies we now use in our personal computers, smartphones and all kinds of devices, which slowly lead to his downfall and bankrupcy of his company. He died alone, poor and forgoten by almost everyone. We shall honor the many heroes like him but pushing the bountries, thinking the unthinkable and finding the unfindable. We have the power to do and change everything as long as we do our best and stay confident in ourselves, despite the difficulties and dangers we come across. Made by some Romanian cunt.
