SUNDAY 17 of March 
Arrivals in Heraklion Airport for partners
Transfer to your hotel by taxi or bus

MONDAY 18 OF MARCH
 08.30 Welcome meeting at our school ( transfer by taxi)
Greek dances from George Choudetsanakis and his student’ s group
Welcoming from students and teachers of our school
10.00-10.50 Job shadowing in our classrooms (2-4 teachers in every classroom, you
shall have translation by students or teachers in basic topics
10.50 Pesentations of every country in our Project’s Room
We shall have coffee breaks due to our school’s breaks (free of charge for
you)
1st topic Educational system in Greece (presentation of Greek Students)
Educational System in other countries by teacher(each country no more that
10 minutes).
 2nd topic Web 2.0 tools workshops from all countries. Each country chooses
one web 2.0 tool for presentation (Italy, Portugal, Romania, Turkey)

14.10-15.10 Lunch in the school

15.10 Departure to Kounavi and Archanes: we shall visit 2 traditional villages
first, Kounavi to visit a local traditional winery for tasting some local wines and
second we shall visit archaeological museum in Archanes
Break for coffee in a traditional coffee shop in Archanes.
Cost per bus 15 euros, cost for winery 7 euros.
Coffee or refreshment in Archanes in a traditional coffee shop
21.00 Return to Heraklion

TUESDAY 19 OF MARCH
09.30 We shall meet you at your hotel to transfer you on foot in the center of
the town for a tour guide to the center of the town with tablets. Technology in our
services (free of charge for you)
Meeting with Mayor or vise mayor of educational affairs if they have available time
11.00 Visiting Archaeological Museum of Heraklion (entrance 10 euros)
13.00 Lunch in our school
We shall have coffee or tea and wine
14.00-16.30 Knossos Palace (transfer by taxi or bus , entrance 10 euros )

WEDNESDAY 20 OF MARCH
08.30 Meeting at our school job shadowing in our classrooms
Coffee Breaks
10.00 Web2.0 tools Workshops (Italy, Turkey, Greece, Romania)
12.00 Departure to Crete University by local bus or taxi, where we shall have
meeting with University Teachers about computer sciences, new technologies etc
14.30 -15.00 Lunch with traditional gyros from pork or chicken in Elefteria
square tavern Hovoli near your hotel (cost per person 4 euros)
You have available time for rest to your hotel
20.30 Dinner in the Tavern Petousis Ammudara area where we shall be
tranfered by taxi or local busses . (Cost of the lunch per person 15 euros)
THURSDAY 21 OF MARCH

9.00 Meeting at your hotel departure by bus for Rethimnon

10.30 Arrival in Rethimnon where we shall visit venetian castle and the old
town with ruins of Ottoman empire and Vetenian walls .
11.30 University of Crete Department of Business Administration
12.30 Archaeological museum of rethimnon.(cost per person 10 euros)
13.50 We shall be transferred by bus to Restaurant Zisis in Rethimnon.
14.00-15.30 Lunch in restaurant Zisis in Rethimnon (cost 15 euros per
person)
15.30 Departure from Rethimnon to Heraklion
18.30 Arrival to Heraklion (cost per person for the bus 20 euros)

FRIDAY 22 OF MARCH
09.00 School meeting (transfer by taxi)
1st topic Why we love Greece (for the Greek students) and why we love each
country for other countries represented by teachers of each country
Coffe break (free of charge for you)
2nd topic web2.0 tools workshops. Each country chooses one web2.0 tool for
presentation(Turkey, Lithuania, Greece)
Job Shadowing in our classrooms and our laboratory of computers where you
could talk with our students about your way of teaching in your schools. You shall
have job shadowing in classrooms with maths, physics,sociologist, political sciences
and literature. (2-4 teachers in every classroom, you shall have translation by students
or teachers in basic topics )
Teachers for job shadowing Katsidis, Lenakakis, Perysinaki, Tziritas, Patiraki
Choudetsanakis Athanasakis Demetzos and Thanos (students shall translate basic
topics)
You shall receive your attendance papers.
12.00 -14.00 Teachers meeting for next meeting in Portugal.
Coffe break
14.10-15.30 Variety of Pizzas in our school they shall be ordered by local
pizzeria (Cost per person 12 euros)
Coffee or tea wine refreshments and water
 15.30-17.30 Discussion about next meeting and anything we need to talk
about project itt

Saturday 23 of March
Departure for all

In case you have late departure you could visit Kules Castle, Talos, Shopping
Center, Dedalou Shopping Center, The Popular Flea Market Of Heraklion for
shopping from 09.00 until 14.00, Cathedral or Churches around center of the town

First day of arrival you have to pay for busses to Rethimnon and Kounavoi as
the busses need as guarantee the amount of money both busses cost 35 per person ,
invoice you shall receive from our school.
