Living among computers

Technology has progressed in leaps and bounds in today’s world and with it so has
communication. In this way, the use of computers in everyday life has become a natural thing.
Although computers may improve our lives in many aspects, the moderation of use of technology
is highly important in order to maintain a non-abstract touch with others

To start with, it is true that computers give the opportunity to keep in touch with people all
around the world. Then people may feel that they are closer to distant relatives. However, many
times, far from helping, technology could prevent people from meeting each other. Thus people
are so absorbed in their mobiles that they forget to interact with people who is around them.

On the other hand, technology provides opportunities to access a lot of information and books
that were unattainable before the arrival of the internet. Despite this, the wrong use of internet
leads people to search for useless information. As people are focused on using internet they forget
to look information in books, which are still a great source of knowledge.

There is no denying that computers make our lives easier in many ways. Thus, the use of
technology saves us a lot of time. For example, processes can be made from the comfort of our
houses. What is more, social networks allow people to talk each other at every time, every day
despite the distances. In contrast, being at home all day, just sitting in front of a screen may bring
health problems. Then, it is possible to see how lot of people leave working out or meeting with
friends due to their addiction to technology.

To conclude, it is true that computers and new technologies have improved human beings
lifestyles in many ways. But it is also true that the excessive use of technology make the distances
longer between people instead of shorter. Therefore, in order not to fall in the technology paws all
human beings have to learn to regulate its use.
