EXPRESSION OF INTEREST/RFP
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Technical Education & Vocational Authority (KP-TEVT wants to engage
the Consultants, for its project “Architectural and Structural Design of KP-TEVTA Directorate
at Industrial Estate Hayatabad Peshawar”.

The interested Consultants enlisted with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa C&W Department and
registered with Pakistan Engineering Council/PCATP may submit their sealed Technical as
well as financial proposals under Single stage with two envelops system up to 3:00 PM, 29th
February, 2016. The Technical Proposals may be opened on the same day. The detailed

Terms and Conditions

1. A consultant firm must be registered with:
 Pakistan Engineering Council(PEC) as well Pakistan Council for Architects and Town
Planners(PCATP)
 Payer of Sales Tax and Income Tax
 Registered with KP-Revenue Authority.
 Enlisted with C&W Department

2. A consultant must have :

 5 Years Experience in Civil Infrastructure Projects ,designing and Supervision
 They Have office in Peshawar or may establish office at Peshawar on the basis of
their own resources.
 They have a highly qualified team of Architects/Structural engineers/Construction
Engineers/Technologists etc (supervision/Designing)
 The Consultant must mention the Proposed Experts/Supervisors for the
Project/Projects may include Architects, Structural Engineers, Electrical Engineer
and Sub-Engineers according to the nature of the Project.
 The Consultant Shall Submit a bid security at the rate of 2 percent of the consulting
Cost, which shall be forfeited in case he refuses to sign the contract document.

TERMS OF REFERNCE (TORs)

1. TORS of the Design Consultant include:

 To Conduct Soil investigation of the site including bearing capacity of the soil.
 To design the building according to the prevailing rules and regulations of the
Industrial estate/PDA.
 To do Architectural Design/drawing and is environmentally friendly and has an
aesthetic value including list of requirements.
 To conduct structural Design/drawing according to the latest codes applicable in
Peshawar including list of requirements.
 To make plumbing/sanitation, electrification, surface drainage designs/drawing
and site plan for the Project including list of requirements.
 To make interior design/drawings/specification of the building and list of
requirements.
 To Make Technical Specification for the Project.
 To Develop Cost Estimate for the Project
 To develop The Bill of quantities.
 To develop Tender documents for the project including quality control
methodology.
 To Develop Project PC-1
