The role of structural engineer is very important in the progress of constructions.

It is one of the
disciplines in Civil engineering. Structural engineers are responsible for the design and the sturdiness of
the infrastructure they build. They are also responsible for the structural and physical integrity of which
a building hold. Dissimilar to the work of architects, who focus on the appearance and the purpose of
the building, structural engineers focus on solving the technical problems revolving the building and help
the architect achieve what they aim or envision regarding the project.

A number of structural engineers focus on the beauty of the aesthetic factors of structures – they
calculate loads and emphasizes on the need for the structures to stand firm and are safe to be in.
Structural engineers must consider that the range of building materials also have different qualities, and
also, they must understand how to be able to consolidate with support beams, columns, and
foundations, that will ensure the safety of the building.

They are required to communicate with the team, which includes engineers, architects, environmental
scientists, and landscape architects. Their work is interdisciplinary seeing that there are many factors to
consider when creating projects like this. Also, that they need the support of the local government in
their own survey regarding the project.

If I will be a structural engineer someday, I will construct structures that are aesthetically firm, and I will
assure that all the residents of the world that the building that I will build will be comfortable and safe. I
will build a strong company with my co-workers in order to build a beautiful and harmonize
infrastructure. I will make sure as a structural engineer, I will provide a good and strong equipment’s for
my construction project. I will invent things that can withstand all the calamities in our planet. By these,
I can make the world a better living for my fellow humans.
