Script: The Heist

Scene 1- Criminal base

The crew are sat around a table going over the plan for the
heist.

Number 1
Ok, so… everything is ready to go. We will enter the tunnel
through here (points at the map), all that is left to do is
drill through the floor of the vault.

(the other crew member look engaged and are nodding their
heading in agreement)

The moment we enter the vault we are going to trip the motion
sensors which will notify the police that there is something
wrong, this means we have 5 minuets to grab as much cash as
possible and get out.

(crew continue to nod)

However (emphasise on this word). We must be silent when we

are in the bank because the bank workers won’t know that we
are in there.

Number 3
(interrupts) So what if they do? The police are already on
the way.

Number 1
Very true. But if the bank know then they will notify an armed
response unit which will cause us a lot of problems.

Number 2
(laughs) I can deal with police not the army

Number 3
(sounds worried) The army?

Number 4
(Calmly) He’s joking.

Number 1
(annoyed) can I continue?

(moment of silence)

Good(pause). This is where you come in (points at number 4, he

nods)
 Number 4
Ill place the charges on the vault door while you lot find
somewhere to hide.

Number 3
Whoa whoa whoa! Why are you blowing the door off? Why don’t we
just go back out the tunnel?

Number 2
(scoffs) you think we going to fit back down the tunnel with
all that money?

Number 1
He’s right. Once the door is off, we’ll make a run for it,
there is a getaway car parked round the corner waiting.

Number 4
That doesn’t sound like a very reliable plan.

Number 1
We are going to have guns and masks as well but they are only
for intimidation, do not harm anyone (emphasizes last part).

(number 2 shakes his head in disagreement at this)

If the police catch up to us before we reach the car then we

split up, it will harder for them to chase us all separately.
We meet back here and split the money, then we all go our
separate ways. Everyone got that?

(they all nod)

One last thing, we will not be using our real names to avoid
getting caught, I am number 1, you guys are, number 2, number
3 and number 4 (points to each person as he says it)

Number 4
(joking)Aw, how come I’m last?

Number 1
(very seriously) because I said so.

(tense silence)

Everyone ready?

Number 2
Ready

Number 3
Ready
 Number 4
Ready

Number 1
Lets do this.

They all get up and pick up some bag then walk out the door.
Fades out.

Scene 2- In the base

The camera is in the same position as when they left. Number 1
busts in suddenly and bends over panting, number 3 and 4
follow soon after. Number 4 collapses on the floor.

Number 4
(screams) IVE BEEN SHOT!

Number 1
(shouts) WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED!

Number 3

(says nothing just stands there)

(everyone breathes heavily for a moment)

(the mood settles)

Number4
After we left the bank…

This starts the flash back.

Flashes back to when the leave the bank.

Scene 3- Outside the bank

The crew run down the stairs of the bank still wearing masks
and carrying bags. They stand at the bottom for a moment
looking around.
Number 1
(shouts)what happened in there!

Number 2
(Shouts)Police

He points to two police officers who just run around the

corner and started running towards them.

Number 1
(shouts) SPLIT!

Everyone runs off in different directions but number 4 runs

towards the police but cuts down an ally.
As number 4 says what happened you see the events happening.

Number 4
I knew that I had to get to the car because then I would be
safe. But one of the police officers chased me around the
corner.

Number 1
Yeah but how did you get shot?

Doesn’t flash back when he speaks.

Number 4
Well I made it all the way to the car but as I was opening the
door he had a clear shot and just caught my hip.

Flashes back to the base momentarily.

Number 1
(looks Shocked) Jesus

Number 4
I floored it and got as far as I could as quick as I could.

Flashes back
Number 4
I had been driving for about half an hour and I was passing
under a bridge and as I did this guy (points to number 3)
comes out the shadows and waves me down for a ride.

Number 3 looks up as he gets pointed at.

Flashes back to the base.

Number 4
So here we are.

Shrugs his should then winches in pain and moans and goes back
to holding his hip.

Number 1
(to number 3) So how did you end up under the bridge?

Number 3
(unconfidently) well, errr…

This starts his flash back.

Scene 4- Streets
Starts back outside the bank. You see number 3 turn around and
run the opposite way from the police.
