Global Warming A Global Issue?

Is global warming a global issue? today faces we are facing a lot of problems in our

world that cannot be stopped but can be prevented, global warming is one of them, it is the

biggest problem our world faces but, our government doesn’t take immediate actions there are

still a lot of business that contribute to global warming such as large factories or power plants

that emit a lot of greenhouse gases. Global warming is the gradual increase in world

temperatures caused by greenhouse gases that are collecting in the air around the Earth and

stopping heat escaping into space (Cambridge University Press, 2020) this causes the greenhouse

effect it is the problem caused by increased quantities of gases such as carbon dioxide in the air.

These gases trap the heat from the Sun and cause a gradual rise in the temperature of the Earth's

atmosphere (Collins, 2020). A panel convened by the U.S National Research Council, the

nation's premier science policy body, in June 2006 voiced a "high level of confidence" that Earth

is the hottest it has been in at least 400 years, and possibly even the last 2,000 years. According

to MacMillan, 2016 One of the major contributions to our energy causes global warming which

generates 1.7 billion tons of CO2 emission each year. We must create an alternative source of

energy to help the world we live in to make it a more suitable place for the next generation

because Earth is the only place, we can call home. Global warming is a global issue that is

visible but not being prevented as early as possible it has a great impact to our daily lives.

Initially, our research will help our readers understand what causes global warming, how global

warming affects our environment, and what we can do to prevent global warming.
