Most unforgettable experience

Of course, the whole CPE experience is unforgettable. I consider it a very worthwhile and fulfilling
experience for me as a religious and a seminarian. I will never forget the patient visitation since this is
my first time ministering to sick people in the hospital. Besides the fact that I have ministered to patients
emotional and spiritual needs during the visits, I have realized that I was also learning from them
through their life stories specially and their faith journey.

Most specially I will never forget my classmates, especially those in my group, the team competitive as
we brand ourselves. I will never forget our bonding group sessions and how we laugh our hearts out. I
will never forget how I made them happy and laugh with my jokes. I have realized, Nakakatawa pala ako.
Of course, how we learn from each other’s stories and helped each other in the group processing.

Struggle

My adjustments during the first weeks of the CPE. Being the only Adorno in the crowd, it was really a
struggle.

Talking to patient, especially making the conversation going smoothly. I have that tendency to run out of
words during conversations. Over all: My unpolished skills in communication

How did you grow?

Conversations with the person, not just with the patient but with other people as well who I encounter.

Wide perspective in life. It was broaden as I get along with other persons especially with my peers. It let
me go out from my comfort zone which keeps me from going back then. Spontaneity and surprises of
life.
