Investigate There is Aquifer or No

Indicate: Aquifer
MBAL History Match
 Quality check history data
 View all plots at the same time
 Turn off the aquifer
 Use Campbell plot for diagnosis
 For gas reservoir use Cole plot
 The Wd plot can be used in terms of selecting
boundary effects
 Go to analytical plot and perform regression
 Run simulation to check how the model is tracking
pressure history.

MBAL Prediction Forecast
 You should then match fw/fg and get the pseudo
relative perm curve.
 From simulation make copy of time vs rate.
 Use this information in to the prediction,
 Option: Reservoir pressure from production
schedule
 Check the option "Use relative permeability's"
 Run prediction and compare
o Average oil rate
o Reservoir pressure
o WC and GOR
 Verify the are reproduced.
 If they are the same, the set of relative permeability's
can be used for forecast.
