Lock system are providing efficiency in day to day life ,with the help of biometric
door locks you don’t need to remember to bring along your keys when you go
out, no more forgotten and lost keys, no need for spare keys, no more cutting
keys for visitors, no need to lock your doors. Digital door locks are more reliable
and secured, unless and until you don’t get recognised you cannot have access to
that door or you cannot enter from that door.
The total locks market is estimated to be Rs 5,000 crore, of which organised
segment is 40 per cent. The company enjoys a market share of 45 per cent in the
organised segment. They have indicated premiumisation of locks will help the
segment grow at over two times the market.

Godrej have a mindshare of 90 per cent but market share of 45-50 per cent. They
are trying to narrow the gap between the two and that is going to be driven by
premiumisation.
