Will the pandemic kill off our social liberties and freedom of action? What can
be the consequences? Positive and negative?

Liberty
Liberty means in which the person has the ability to act according to his own will. Social liberty
relates to what we refer today as opportunities for advancement or social mobility. It is the
privilege all things considered, independent of race, doctrine and the situation of their folks, to be
allowed each chance to accomplish a situation in the public arena comparable with their
capacities.

Freedom
Freedom of activity as to be allowed to do what one needs to do. Furthermore, freedom of will
would then mean to be allowed to pick what one needs or what it will is.

Today, more than 1.2 Million population of the world is infected by the pandemic called
Coronavirus (Covid-19). Billions of people are limited to their homes. In every part of the world
the business is totally closed which will affect the world badly. This is not the first time world is
facing this kind of situation. Even in Europe from 1347 to 1351 the most devasting pandemic
recorded in the human history was black death. Around 75 to 200 Million people died in Eurasia.
The Black Death have slaughtered almost 30% to 60% of Europe's population. The Black Death
began in China, before spreading through the Middle East to Europe through trade routes in
Italy. Altogether, the plague may have decreased the total population from 475 million to 350–
375 million in the fourteenth century. It took 200 years for Europe's population to recovers to its
past level, and a few areas like (Florence) just recovered by the nineteenth century.

Is COVID-19 worse than the Black Death?

Coronaviruses was first discovered in Wuhan, China in December 2019, more than 1,203,966
people are infected by Coronaviruses. As of April 05, 2020, 65,659 people have died.
Coronavirus had recently been named a scourge, as most of coronavirus cases were first revealed

comparison to the Black Death of the 14th century, the latest COVID-19 outbreak has also
caused fewer deaths. It is also the case that less people have been infected with COVID-19 than
the plague.

How will the coronaviruses change the world?

There are various potential fates, all depend onto how governments and society react to
coronavirus and its monetary repercussions. Ideally we will utilize this emergency to reconstruct,
produce something better and increasingly compassionate. However, we may slide into
something more regrettable. Covid-19 is keeping us to stay at home but life will keep in going as
human will be learning new ways of living because of this pandemic. Nowadays people are
forced to work from home. Many of them not done this in their life but they are doing. this show
that this pandemic is putting limitation on their liberty and freedom of action because many of
them are not satisfied to work from home. This pandemic may take societies to the worst path.
Nowadays, Covid-19 has forced the people to clean themselves but before it people were
ignorant to keep themselves clean. Lockdown is placing pressure on the global economy. The
financial matters of breakdown are genuinely straight forward. Organizations exist to make a
benefit. In the event like pandemic causes lockdown around the that they can't create, they can't
sell things. This implies they won't make benefits, which implies they are less ready to utilize
you. Organizations can and do clutch laborers that they don't require quickly they need to have
the option to fulfill need when the economy picks back up once more. In any case, in the event
that things begin to look downright awful, at that point they won't. Along these lines, more
individuals lose their positions or dread losing their positions. So they purchase less.
Furthermore, the entire cycle begins once more, and we winding into a financial downturn.
Moreover, there will be rise in E-commerce, Pharmaceutical Industry will get boom, Oil based
global industry will be changed or replaced (not completely obviously) with service industry,
Genetic Engineering will rise and modified human based medical research (Tested on different
parameters) will be commercialized, instead of being lab projects only. Virtual socialization will
emerge more (If things persist, since a rumor emerging that possibly this pandemic will be
cyclical) it will diffuse but re-emerge. De-population (all advance countries have large life
expectancy, so population which is burdensome i.e 60+ will diminish) but as Muslim we believe
that in matter of life and death God knows best

Why social distancing might last for some time?

Life in Pakistan and in numerous nations around the globe is evolving definitely. We're
genuinely removed from our preferred individuals, we're avoiding our preferred open spots, and
many are monetarily stressed or jobless. The reaction to the Covid-19 pandemic is invading each
part of life, and we're as of now yearning for it to end. In any case, this battle may not end for
quite a long time or a year or much more. Scientists warn us to keep social distance. Because
they think that social distance is the most ideal approach to prevent awful emergency maybe
many at least thousands if our medicinal services framework is overpowered with serious Covid-
19 cases, individuals who require ventilators and ICU beds that are currently developing
constrained in supply.

Till the time proper cure/ vaccine is not made this pandemic of Covid-19 will affect our social
liberties and freedom of actions/ activities.

Following are the consequences:

Positive
 All nations around the world are united to fight against this pandemic.
 All unnecessary gatherings are curbed/ reduced like crowded marriages.
 Being a Muslim our faith has become stronger that there is only power (Allah) who is
controlling the world.

Negative
 Economy of the world is most effected therefore poverty is likely to increase.
 No of casualties have surpassed 65,659 (Date: 05/04/2020, time 4:38 PM) around the
globe which has bad psychological effect on humans.
 Education sector is Badly effected mostly schools which has no online classes facility.
 People are facing problem for treatment of illnesses other than Covid-19.
