ITEM H2S DETECTION EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES SPECIFICATIONS
1 PERSONNEL
Contractor shall provide qualified and experienced personnel
sufficient in number and with appropriate qualifications to
maintain and operate the H2S Detection Equipment and
Services on site, and process and interpret data as required. A
standard crew will comprise one (1) H2S Safety Engineer. For 24
hour operations two (2) crews will be required.
a. H2S Safety Engineer shall have minimum 5 (five) years
of oil industry H2S Safety, plus a minimum of 2 (two)
years of geothermal drilling operations experience.
H2S Safety Engineer shall also have extensive
knowledge of H2S safety equipment operations,
materials and products procedures; and experience in
conducting H2S and SCBA training and emergency
drills.
2 EQUIPMENT
Contractor shall provide the required H2S Detection System
equipment on an as required basis, and shall be responsible for
mobilisation and demobilisation of this equipment to and from
the drilling site as required. The list of H2S Detection Equipment
to be provided, as a minimum:
a. 1 set of Fixed Point Electronic H2S Gas Detection
System
b. 6 sets for 4 areas of Hydrogen Sulphide Sensor
(measuring range: 0-100 ppm, explosion proof, and
impervious to high moisture environments.)
CONTRACTOR’S RESPONSE
