FOR A HUMANLY HUMAN

From the very dawn of civilization mankind has been facing haughty imposition of killing on respective

ancestral creed.A lot of apposite examples can be cited from the historical angle of vision of the

Roman,Greek,Judaic,Byzantine civilizations etc.Aspiring geniuses to the top of their bent made arduous
search for a 'humanly human'.The appreciative zeal of them found no way of success. They had to show

awed devotion to the autocratic power present.Some could not but become a censorious reviewer to the
barbarous statecraft.The civilizing influence for ages in due course met a colossal failure.Mean tricks of

the rulers and their envious animosity throttled childlike simplicity in high feather.
The deceived humanity with guileless enthusiasm dreamed of god-like independence,heavenly ecstasies

and humanitarian impulse but to all intents and purposes a lawless freedom of the rulers led all these to
the way of annihilation.In all likelihood our untutored mind even on bent knees never thought of them
as unphilosophical dreamer.Where is the very man we have been in quest of from time immemorial?A

man whom criticism doesn't make wriggle,juvenile delinquency can't touch, whose elegant manners
earn him fame beyond measure.Is he a leader with a large following? Does he ever gibes at anybody's

mistakes hesitatingly? Everyone can see green in whose eyes,whom a handful of persons can verily
recognize as occasion serves?

Who is in the blazing azure sky with a flood of light, in the dazzling entireness of beauty,in the sober and
serene pupils of the sages,in the secret and sacred temple of the human body?Who is in the repeated
attempts of extirpating all evils of society,in the incessant movement of a noble writer's pen,in the
confidently anticipated imagination of a poet?Who is in the effulgent day-beams of a crystalline sky,in

the meditatively silent prayer of a neutral eye,in the overmastering power of a paradoxical speaker?Does
he harbour a grudge at the hush-hush affair or heart to heart talk of the politicians?Does he experience
limitless hardship,immeasurable pain for an ounce of unalloyed bliss?Does he castigate us for our
prejudice,superstition and other like evils?Does he anatomize our abysmal ignorance when we become

morally bankrupt?
He appears like an anchor on his own responsibility when all hopes are dashed.In sad earnest he abides
in the cream of humanity and not here,there and everywhere.With all his heart he stands against the
persecuting enthusiasm of any destructive doctrine.Behind the scenes he stays in the rollicking
merriness and glowing gaiety of the babies.On more score than one he dislikes slavish obedience and

sanctimonious feigning.Sooth to say he realizes the silent song of twilight shadow.With his whole heart
he keeps aloof from unmanly timidity for veiled insult but praises intense devotion for philosophical
acuteness as regards God.In a word he avoids the ugliness of dissolute and dissipated life and year in year
out stretches his helpful hands towards the victims of lamentable hopelessness.

POLITICIANS COLLUDE--PEOPLES COLLIDE

T here is no shadow of doubt that everything is the subject

of debate and men of letters have contrary of opinions.The
famous town-and-gown lose patience over a vexed question and
thus a tempest is made in a tea cup.The question is : to know many
things or to know one big thing---which is better?......In our
academic life our study begins with gathering knowledge of
'something of everything' [many subjects up to class X ].At XI,XII
the number of subjects decreases, at graduation level decreases
more & in the post-graduate level the subject becomes one & we
begin gathering knowledge of 'everything of something' [one
subject,many aspects ]. In fact they are complementary-important
for education,good for the world & moral for the mankind.
The politicians in majority are highly
educated persons with extra-ordinary knowledge & having

WHAT SHOULD WE DO NOW ?

Once a sagacious soul said something is better than nothing. But if

that something carries with it a number of obvious obligations-
makes effective efforts to chain the wildness-reins to check the
horses of pleasure-threatens not to be involved in heinous works-
urges to have faith in without any logic should we accept it? If that
something reminds us of the ethnic cleansing performed by
religious bigotry all over the world-execrable occupation of other's
land in the name of God-iconoclastic savageness of some fanatics as
supported by a faith-indiscriminate plundering & brutally killing as
enthused by some religious heads. Should we stand in favour of it ?
If that something shows an easy path of removing accumulated
burden of triple grief promises to alleviate the agony of ineffable
troubles in life, teaches to welcome everyone without feeling any
pride & serve all beings with humility-advises to moult the
inhumanly mean mask from the face. Should we obey it ? If that

victims of ophidiophobia & arachnophobia. How many women of the
world fear cockroaches? Is there any knowledge about---how many
persons are afraid of reading-religious-books Or attacked with a

must be in quest of the price before performing the greatly book-
philic task. Suffer he not from bibliophobia though his life is beset
with a lot of different kinds of hazards. Students despite having
extra-talent for getting by heart do not feel easy with
