    2nd Grade

    Day 1: Intro & Start Building


    ❏ Powerpoint on architecture and shapes vs forms
    ❏ Demo making 3D buildings
    ❏ 4 Houses, start with green land (can always add other details, Make your buildings different colors)
    ❏ Talk about turning a shape into a 3d form
    ❏ Rectangle - house
    ❏ Square - cone (cut off corners and cut line to middle)
    ❏ Cut slits on top and bottom of house to attach to ground and roof

    Day 2: Building
    ❏ Review architecture, shapes & forms. How to build buildings
    ❏ Talk about how to stack buildings

    Day 3: Add Details


    ❏ Make it unique
    ❏ Slides, chimneys, doors, windows, ponds, paths, etc.

    Materials Needed:
    8.5” x 12” Green paper
    Cut colored paper for building (squares & rectangles)
    Scissors
    glue
