John and Anna break up

Anna was a 46-year-old housewife who had been married to John for over 16 years.
She was very charming as well as a hard-working wife; she also liked reading novels in
her free time.
Her husband John, was 48 and worked as a truck driver. He was really keen on football;
in fact he was a supporter of Manchester United and he didn’t miss any of its matches,
which he watched with his friends in a local bar.

Their marriage has become a bit monotonous, both of them regret not having had
children. However they regard they are too old to be parents.
John usually leaves their home at 8 am and works during the whole day driving until
dinner time, when he is back at home. Moreover, they seldom have interesting
conversations during their supper and he feels he needs a change in his life.

One day in the bar, his friend Steven invited him to his birthday party. At first he
refused to attend but Steven insisted and persuaded him, he pointed out that there
would be lots of people and promised him that they would have a great time if he
decided to attend.

During the party he met Sarah, a pretty young girl and offered her to have some drinks
while talking. They fell in love instantly and danced together all the night, they agreed
to meet again and he suggested starting a new life together, even sharing a flat. She
claimed that firstly he had to break up with his wife and then she would accept.

The following day John explained to Anna that their marriage was over and started
packing up. She blamed him for being a bad husband and started to cry on the bed.
After splitting up with Anna, John moved into another flat with Sarah.

In the beginning they had an awesome relationship, having a lot of fun and doing lots
of activities. But at the end of the first month living together Sarah seemed to be bored
of their routine life, in a way that reminded John of his own feelings over a month ago.

John suggested to Sarah that they should eat out in an Italian restaurant. She accepted
and said to him that she needed to go out once in a while in order to dance and have a
good time, so that, they went to a local pub after dinner, where John found his ex-wife
dancing with his friend Steven.

She looked much younger than ever and they were enjoying themselves a lot. John
greeted them and some minutes later started a long conversation with Anna. He
apologized to her for not having been a better husband. They realized they had missed
each other and made up, they started dating and three months later they got married
again.
