Example: The sun, moon, stars, rivers, mountains, plants, animals.
2. Man-made things are made by man.
Example: toys, vehicles, furniture, buildings, books etc.
3. Living things can move, feel, grow, feed, breathe and reproduce.
Example: animals, all green plants, human beings.

Interesting facts about living things:


1. All living things grow in size.
2. They need to move from one place to another place in search of food and
shelter.
3. Fish use their fins to swim. Fish breathe through gills.
4. Plants are also living things. They do not move but their various parts
move.
5. Plants make their own food with the help of sunlight, air, water and
chlorophyll.
6. Plants breathe through stomata.
7. Most of the animals like dog, lion, monkey and human beings breathe
through the lungs.
8. Insects like butterflies, cockroach, mosquitoes etc breathe through
spiracles.
9. Earthworms breathe through the skin.
10. Human beings and some of the animals reproduce or give birth to their
babies.
11.All living things have a certain life span or age to be alive.
