Brothers and sisters in Christ:

We are hoping that you are safe at this point.

It all started with a single low-pressure area outside the Philippine Area of
Responsibility. Eventually, this led to more storms all at the same time that also
attracted southwest wind which intensified the rainfalls. And because our dams
could no longer hold much water from the rain, they were opened, causing
unexplainable amount of flood in their surrounding areas. Some people
remembered Typhoon Yolanda which brought the Philippines to several news
stations across the globe but truth be told, there are some officials who claimed
that in Metro Manila and in its neighboring provinces, these tropical storms
brought more damage today than it was when Yolanda hit the country.

Today, more than ever, the people need the Lord. And as an extension of God’s
kingdom here on earth, our church in Taal, Bocaue, Bulacan, is exerting efforts,
resources, time, and manpower to help those who were affected by these storms.
Unfortunately, our calamity fund would not be enough to cover the expenses of
the distribution of our relief goods.

Once again, we are knocking to your generous hearts because we know that in
times like this, you will be more than willing to be the extension of the Lord’s
hands to several families residing in Bocaue. Most of these people have not even
set foot in our church and probably have never even heard about the Gospel. By
reaching out to them during this time, we don’t even have to open our mouths.
The bags we will be handing out to them will be the Gospel they all needed to
hear. AND YOU CAN BE A PART OF IT.
