Affordable Computer Repair is a small family owned business that seeks to serve the greater Bellevue
area as well as other locations in Nebraska. This policy is designed to protect the customers as well as
the employees working or contracted to perform services on behalf of Affordable Computer Repair.

Rates for On-Site/In-Home Repair:

 Service Call - Less than 15 miles - $25.00

 Service Call - Between 15 miles and 30 miles - $35.00
 Service Call - Between 30 miles and 45 miles - $45.00
 Service Call - Between 45 miles and 60 miles - $55.00
 Plus $55.00 per hour

Anything over 60 miles will be charged by the hour to and from location.



 Service Call - Between 30 miles and 45 miles - $45.00
 Service Call - Between 45 miles and 60 miles - $55.00

Modems - $35.00 +tax installed

Network Cards - $25.00 +tax installed

Data Recovery - $150.00 +tax

Laptop Repair (Hardware) - $110 + parts & tax

Websites:
 Informational package: Domain Name, 1 email address, 1 page of information about you or your

company to get you on the internet. Only $50.00.

Basic Website Package: Up to 10 informational pages, 5 email address, domain name and hosting

all for an affordable price. Between $300.00 and $600.00.

Computers left in the shop for over 30 days will be disposed of as Affordable Computer Repair sees

fit.

** Power supplies, Modems and Network cards are generally interchangeable among computers.

Part prices listed above are for in stock items. Proprietary parts may cost more. All parts and

services must be taxed, prices doesn't reflect tax.

I. Cost Repair Estimates:

Laptop Estimates $100:

In order to diagnose most laptop hardware problems, it may become necessary to open up the computer.
Depending on the problem, it may be corrected during the troubleshooting process. Although the actual
procedure of resetting a piece of hardware, such as a cable, or replacing a hard drive or memory stick,
may not take long, the troubleshooting process can be lengthy.
Re-Assembly of equipment is not included in the estimate. This cost is only for the diagnostics of the
equipment.

If you decide to complete the repair, the cost of the estimate is waived and you will only pay for the shop
rate plus parts.

Desktop Estimates $100:

II. Warranty Work:

This shop does not do warranty work for any manufacturer, example: Dell, HP, Gateway, Acer, Toshiba,
Sony, etc... It is the customer’s responsibility to check to see if their equipment is under warranty. If we
find out that your equipment is covered, we may order the parts from the manufacturer and install them,
but you will be responsible for the cost of labor to replace the part.

If you notify us after we have worked on a piece of equipment, that it is under warranty, and parts were
installed, you will be responsible for both the parts and labor.

Same Day Service $100:

We pride ourselves in having a 3 day turn around, and will do our best to fix your equipment in 3 days or
less. However, if your equipment requires parts it may take longer since shipping varies from each
vender. Most shipping is received within 3 days.

We work on equipment in the order they are received. If you need same day service, or need your
equipment back in a hurry, we will be happy to put yours ahead of the line for an additional charge.
However, depending on the nature of the problem, it may or may not be fixed the same day.

 Install, Update and Run Spybot Search and Destroy (Free Spyware remover)

 Install, Update and Run Malwarebytes (Free Malware remover)
 Install, Update and Run Combofix (For those stubborn programs)
 Install, Update and Run AVG (Free Anti-Virus)
 Install Zone Alarm (Free Firewall)
 Install and Run Cleanup
 Install and Run Hijack This
 Run from CD Norton Windoctor
 Manually Edit Registry for items not automatically removed
 Run Astra to check Health of Hard Drive
 Run chkdsk /f to fix errors on Hard Drive
 Updated all your Windows Updates and Patches
Feel free to attempt a tune up yourself. The majority of the time, you should be able to keep
your computer clean yourself. If you run into problems, call me.

Normally takes between 3 to 4 hours depending on the speed of your internet connection and
your computer.

III. Data Loss & Integrity:

We here are Affordable Computer Repair will do our best to ensure that all your data is properly
preserved; however it is ultimately the responsibility of the customer to properly back-up and
preserve their data on any and all equipment that Affordable Computer Repair will be
transferring, cloning, repairing or inspecting.

Data & Privacy:

Affordable Computer Repair Stores fully respect and support the Constitutional Rights of
every customer. This is especially true in the case of the 4th Amendment and Right to
Privacy.

Affordable Computer Repair Stores, engages in services that require looking at data. We
will not disclose any private information that we are exposed to during our serving of the
equipment. We will not give any data or information to any parties to include third parties
soliciting customer information. We have a moral responsibility to protect the interest of
our clients and our communities.

We at Affordable Computer Repair do reserve the right to contact law enforcement in the
course of conducting our business we come across child pornography or any other illegal
material concerning children. It is against State and Federal law to manufacture, possess
or distribute child pornography.
Time Frame Expectations:
We pride ourselves in having a 3 day turn around, and will do our best to fix your equipment in 3
days or less. However, if your equipment requires parts it may take longer since shipping varies
from each vender. Most shipping is received within 3 days.

We work on equipment in the order they are received. If you need same day service, or need
your equipment back in a hurry, we will be happy to put yours ahead of the line for an additional
charge. However, depending on the nature of the problem, it may or may not be fixed the same
day.

We will do our best to complete an order within our turnaround time of 3

days or less. However each order is different and may present different and
unique challenges. We will do our best to ensure that an order meets our
turnaround policy, however, there circumstances may arise that may require
more time to work on the computer. In this case we will do our best to notify
and work with our clients to ensure customer satisfaction. This is why it is
important that we have all information and equipment needed to help us
fulfill our customers’ expectations.

Legal Considerations:
While here at Affordable Computer Repair we respect, value and cherish our customers and the
ability to serve them. In the event that a legal dispute is brought upon by ourselves or our clients
we will follow the advice of our legal counsel or law enforcement until the matter is
satisfactorily resolved. This can include but is not limited to the holding of client equipment
and/or denying or halting of service.
