 Garment finishing process:
Proper finishing process can be improved quality of garments and make on time order
shipment. Garments shipment is very much dependable on Garments finishing
section. Finishing section add value to the product which attracts customers by the
presenting activities of the product according to buyer’s requirements.

Machine and equipment used in finishing section:

Thread Trimming Machine in Garment
Manufacturing
Thread trimming is one of the common processes in industrial apparel manufacturing.
Cutting threads from stitched garments prior to garment finishing is a non-value added
but unavoidable process. Most factories practice manual thread cutting by hand
trimmer.

Thread trimming machine (Unisun)

These machines are equipped with suction motor, trimming blade, table top and waste
container. These machines are available in various designs. A thread trimming
machines can be fixed on a table and operator can do trimming job by sitting on the
chair. Operator can use flexible trimmer and trim thread tails placing garments on a flat
table.
This manual process increases the chance of damaging garment pieces. It may
increase number of defective garments in a lot. 
 .
Two head thread trimmer

Operation
1. Plug in, turn on the switch;
2. Adjusted the wind speed, and then click on the preview switch;
3. To absorb wind (inhaled thrum don’t inhale cloth as appropriate). Product straight,
head seam line clipper can achieve ideal trimming effect. ( the front of the cutting tools
has better effect to lift 0.51 cm).

Advantage
1. Thread cut neatly, clean, less than 1mm
2. 2-8 times efficiency than hand cutting
3. Durable: air-cooling, cutter block would never overheat, powerful blades make cutting
easy and clean, 2 years longer working period than other similar products.
4. Automatic muti-grinding system can prolong the blade working time.
5. Energy saves: can save more than 30% energy.

Disadvantage
 Manual thread trimming is time consuming.
 All trimmed threads can't be removed permanently from garments.
 So,To reduce trimming labour and effort we should use automatic tread cutting
machine. By using automatic thread trimming machine you can reduce manpower
and improve production speed of the thread trimming section.

Maintenance:
1)When starting work, clean  the thread in the bucket and the cutter head (removing the
blade).
Note: The blade cannot be pressed on the thread in slot, otherwise it will hurt the
clothes.
2)Check and make sure there is oil in the oil pipe every day.
3) Check if there is thread in the cool wind outlet, if there is thread block, need to use
wind pipe to blow away the thread.
