1. What is the difference between sexual and asexual reproduction?

The difference between both, is that in sexual reproduction needed a pair of the same species, and
in asexual reproduction its only one parent, it’s an identical copy of the parent, and in sexual it’s
not a copy, there are gametes, which cross over and create biological diversity

2. Which kind of organisms have sexual reproduction? Which have asexual reproduction?

Sexual: Male and Female, which can offspring gametes

Asexual: Unicellular organisms, or an animal called hydra

3. According to the reading, what process generates an embryo? What is a “test tube
embryo?

The process which generates the embryo is when egg cells and sperm cells combine, becoming in
an embryo

The test tube embryo is a combination of male and female reproductive cell, combined in a
laboratory

4. Explain how the reproduction of snails occur

Is the same as humans, except that a snail can be both genders, either a female or a female, he
can offspring sperm or egg cells, so when they mate, both get pregnant, and release the eggs,
which will hatch into baby snails

5. Describe the difference between sexual and asexual reproduction in plants

Many plant reproduce sexually with the help of bees, which take plant’s pollen from one plant to
another making a flower “pregnant” so in the ovule she starts creating a seed which can create
another plant, either from the male or female ant specie, but in the asexual, this seed are found in
a fruit, such as strawberries, so when wind push them off, this fall into the ground, and starts
growing, and creating roots to grow.

6. What is the importance of bees and wind in plant´s reproduction?

Bees have the role to take pollen from one flower to another female flower can get pregnant, and
wind in asexual reproduction pushes off the fruit seeds, so they can grow on earth
7. Can the clones be generated in human reproduction? Explain

No, when living beings reproduce sexually mom and dad’s reproductive cells, its from both, so
there’s no way it can be, but some characteristics can be the same

8. What is the importance of DNA for living things?

The importance consists that this, has a code, which tells the cells what to do, how to grow, if this
gets damage, cells grown in a bad way, so the growth or systems can be damaged

Remember:

Copy, is not allowed in the exams. If you try to make copy, the exam will be void.

There can be no two exams with the same answers.

You have time for delivering the exam until 5:00 pm. I only receive this exam through your emails.

I’m available looking forward your questions the first two hours of class.
