Title of Artifact: Multiple Intelligences Survey Reflection

Explain why you chose this artifact as your best
representation of this particular INTASC standard.

I know that every student learns differently, but it can be hard to determine
how a student learns best. After giving the class I observe a multiple
intelligence survey, I was able to see each of the student’s strengths and
weaknesses based on their answers. I shared the responses with the teacher,
who wasn’t surprised with how the students scored at all. This assignment
shows that I understand the differences in each student and how to recognize
these differences to create an inclusive environment where every student can
learn.

Reflection:

After completing this assignment, I now know that I will be giving my

students a multiple intelligence survey every year in order to effectively
teach them. Understanding these differences is important in creating an
inclusive classroom where each student is able to learn in the way that is
best for them. I hope to create this classroom someday by understanding my
students and how they learn best, and providing various opportunities for
each style within a lesson.
