(Explain what you did to complete this assignment/artifact and how this artifact
best represents this particular InTASC standard, Course Competency and
Essential Learning Outcome.)

In order to complete this assignment I had to come up with a good

standard and topic that would be beneficial to learn. I chose to do nouns as my
topic. It would be used to teach kindergarten or first grade, which is the ages I
enjoy. I had to create a lesson that would still have content and be able to be
taught online in the short amount of time. I was able to plan a lesson and give
students instructions for simple activities to check for their understanding. Being
able to easily check if they have gotten to understand the standard and
accomplish the goal of the lesson by giving self and group activities. Creating my
lesson with information and content that would be vauled by the students. By the
end of my lesson each of the students were able to show understanding.
Reflection: (Explain what you gained from completing this assignment/artifact.)

After completing an online lesson I gained a couple skills. The first skill was being
able to teach online. I was able to experience the sites and different tools needed
to teach online. I was able to learn how to make an online lesson engaging and
keep everyone engaged. I was also bale to create a content lesson in which had
simple information but was something that everyone needs to learn and
understand. I was able to have the opportunity to plan a lesson that would be
beneficial and helpful for the students. Picking the standard, intoducing it,
teaching the lesson, working through it as a group, making sure they understood,
and then allowing for independent practice. Are all crucial steps of making a
lesson that I was able to produce in my online mini lesson.
