Many wines can’t ship to every state due to restrictions. To help get
around common wine shipping problems, GiftTree works directly with
wineries to make our own wines!

Internally, we call them PROPRIE TARY WINE S. To Customers,

they’re referred to as LI MITE D RE LEASE WI NES.

Mississippi, Rhode Island,
South Dakota & Utah do not
allow ANY wine shipping.

The remaining 41 States (and Washington DC, so we just say 42 ) allow ALL proprietary wines to be shipped
 TWO EASY WAYS TO TELL IF A WINE GIFT IS PROPRIETARY

Add the wine gift to your cart and enter
the recipient’s zip code – if you get an esti-
mated ship date, you’re good to go.

If you get this warning, you know that

either the wine is not proprietary, or your
customer is trying to ship to a state that
does not allow wine shipping at all.

Look for the 42 Symbol above “ADD TO CART”.
The Customer cannot see this symbol! This is
an internal indicator just for you.
