KARL
Yea, sure is. It’s beautiful out.
Been thinking lately that us guys
need to get together sometime and
hang out. You know, get away and do
some guy things maybe.
TOM
Yea, Have you spoke to some of the
other guys about maybe getting
together some time. We could have a
card game or something.
TOM
Good, just talking with Karl here
and we think that us guys should
send the ladies off and hang out
and do some guy things sometime,
What do you say?
REX
Yea, I think that’s a great idea!

CARLOS
Hello, Hi Tom. Sure that would be
great. Looking forward to it.
Thanks for calling. Bye.
GABRIELLE
So, what did Tom want?
CARLOS
They guys are going to get together
this weekend and maybe play a card
came or something.
Gabrielle takes the phone from Carlos and looks away as she
hang the phone up, contemplating her own night of fun.
TOM
The guys and I are going to be
getting together tonight, so I
probably won’t be home, so don’t
wait up. OK
KARL, TOM, REX, and CARLOS all sit around the kitchen table
smoking cigars and playing poker. Carlos takes a drink from
his whiskey and Tom puts in his bet.

CARLOS
I’m all in! It’s about time for us
to go find something interesting to
look at.
All the guys at the table look at the card that Carlos is
holding and then look at each other.
KARL
I’m probably going to call it a
night and head to the house.
TOM
Yea, Me too, I’ve got a soccer game
with the kids in the morning and
you know how that can be.
CARLOS
No! I don’t, that’s why I’m going
to look at some naked women and you
can go look at soccer balls.
CARLOS (cont’d)
So, Rex you with me? You and me,
Let’s go have some real fun and let
the squares go to bed. Let the real
men handle business.
They guys start to pack up their things and Tom is the first
to leave Karl’s house.
Eddie is walking down Wisteria lane and can see into Susan
and Karl Mayer’s house. He see’s the guys playing poker
continues to walk down the street.
He passes the Young’s house and hears something coming from
the side of the house.
ZACH

EDDIE
Who is there?
They see a car pull up and a young man jumps out and sneaks
up to the door as Gabrielle swiftly greets him at the door,
turning off any noticeable lights.
ZACH
Who’s that guy? If Mr. Solis
catches that guy messing around
with Ms. Solis he’s going to kill
that guy.
EDDIE
Or her! (beat)
EDDIE
Don’t worry about gas, I’ve got
money. We need to see what these
two guys are up too. Something
looks very suspicious to me.
7.
Eddie turns his head from the window and looks back to Zach.
(Beat)
Zach and Eddie get into Zach’s car and pull out of the
garage just as Carlos and Andrew are leaving.
EDDIE
Don’t follow too close or they will
see us.
ZACH
So, where are we going
EDDIE
We’re just going to follow Carlos
and Rex and see what they are up
to.
ZACH
Why do you care so much what Rex
and Carlos are up too.
EDDIE
If you didn’t notice, some other
guy was at Gabrielle’s and who
knows what Bree is doing at home.
She’s probably all alone while her
so called husband is out having
fun.
ZACH
You really care about them don’t
you.
EDDIE
I just don’t want to see them get
hurt.
Eddie and Zach stop outside a building with a bright neon
sign that says THE PENTHOUSE on it.

JOHN
There’s a car passing by really
slow, you think Carlos is home?
GABRIELLE
No, he parks in the garage and I
can hear the garage open when he’s
home, stop worrying and get over
here.
John is standing by the window looking at the mysterious
car, he starts to put his cloths back on.
GABRIELLE (cont’d)
What are you doing?
JOHN
Something just doesn’t feel right.
Call me later when you don’t have
weird people riding in front of
your house. I’m out of here.
John leaves out the back door and starts to walk down
Wisteria Lane.
The mysterious car speeds past JOHN nearly hitting him while
he walks down the side of the road.

KARL
The night was Good.
SUSAN
So where did Carlos and Rex run off
too. I though maybe you guys were
going to stay up playing poker all
night.
KARL
Nah, they had some other things
that they wanted to do. So, who is
this Eddie guy?
SUSAN
Oh, he’s a kid from down the street
that Lynette referred over. He’s
pretty handy and looking to earn a
little cash to help his mother out.
She’s not working right now.
KARL
Oh, yea. I don’t think I’ve every
met them before.
SUSAN
He’s a good kid.
Susan and Karl lay down in bed and turn the lights off, just
as Eddie and Zach are pulling into the driveway of the
YOUNG’s house.

What? You still have the gun your
mom killed herself with?
ZACH

EDDIE
I guess you can say that.

Eddie quickly gets up from his bed and SLAMS the door in his
mothers face.
EDDIE
Go away! It’s too early for this.
EDDIE
(angry and annoyed)
Yes, ma’am. I’m sorry, I will never
let it happen again.
BARBARA
Yea, that’s what I thought, useless
just like your father.
She SLAMS the door and walks away.
MIKE
Hey buddy, How’s it going. I see
you to boys had a long night.
REX
I guess you can say that. We
decided to go out, but maybe we
should have just stayed home, now
the old lady is going to be pissed.

MIKE
Well, yea. I could imagine. I mean,
your coming home at eight o’clock
in the morning. What do you think
BREE will say?
REX
(still alittle drunk)
I don’t know, but were about to
find out. Wish me luck.
Rex stumbles up the driveway, waving to Mike with his left
hand and as he searches for his keys in his pockets with
this right hand.
MIKE
Good luck buddy, Your going to need
it.
EDDIE walks up to the front door and before he can reach for
the door bell, REX swings open the front door swiftly, and
quietly with his finger over his mouth.
REX
(paranoid)
Quit. My wife is sleeping and we
know how upset she gets if we wake
her up. What can I do for you son?

EDDIE
Well you see Mr. Van Da Kamp, I was
riding my bike down the street and
I saw you pull up with Mr. Solis. I
just thought I’d stop and see if
you still had some things that
needed to be done around here.
REX
Oh, yea Bree was telling me about
you. You’ve been helping Susan and
Lynette right?
EDDIE
So, you got some money for me or
what? You know just like I know
that you don’t want your wife to
find out about your little secret
last night.
Eddie leans in closer to Rex as if to whisper something into
his ear.
EDDIE (cont’d)
(whisper)
I know where you went last night.
(beat)
REX
Look kid, if you’ve come over here
to do a job, then I suggest that’s
what you do. Now, If you want to
try and black male me for something
you think I did, then your sadly
mistaken. You’ve got another thing
coming. I suggest you take a few
steps back and get off my property
before I have to throw you off.
EDDIE
Ok, have it your way Mr. Van Da
Kamp. I was trying to be nice, but
I guess Bree will find out the
truth eventually. Good day sir.
Eddie grabs his bike and wheels it down Rex Van Da Kamp’s
drive way and pedals down Wisteria Ln. toward Carlos and
Gabrielle’s house.
14.
GABRIELE
I can see that, do I look stupid to
you?
CARLOS
No, sweety.
GABRIELLE
Yea, well be sure to leave your
credit card out today because I’m
going to lose a little time
shopping today.
CARLOS
What? Ok.

GABRIELLE
Don’t worry about it.
She walks out the front door. Just as she closes the door
behind her she turns around to the sound of a bike squeaking
down Wisteria. It’s Eddie pulling up the Solis’s driveway on
his bike.
EDDIE
Good morning Mrs. Solis, how’s your
day? Your up early this morning.
Everything ok?
GABRIELLE
No, Eddie everything is not ok.
EDDIE
What’s the matter?
GABRIELLE
I’m just frustrated.
EDDIE
Why?
GABRIELLE
You wouldn’t understand.
EDDIE
Is it because Mr. Solis came home
at 8 o’clock in the morning after
staying out all night.
GABRIELLE
How do you know what he did.
EDDIE
You should know already Mrs. Solis
that I’ve been living here on
Wisteria with you guys ever since I
was a kid and I keep an eye out for
you, Bree, Susan and Lynette as if
your family. I would never let
anything happen to ya’ll.

GABRIELLE
That’s sweet Eddie, but nothing is
going to happen.
EDDIE
You sure about that?
GABRIELLE
Yes, I’m sure.
EDDIE
I could fix it for you, you would
never have to be treated like that
again.
GABRIELLE
(laughing)
No, Eddie, that’s quite fine.
Gabrielle get’s in her car and pulls out of the drive way.
Eddie rides next to the car on his bike.
GABRIELLE (cont’d)
Go home Eddie, You could probably
use some sleep yourself.
Eddie stops his bike in the middle of the road as Gabrielle
drives off. Eddie has a confused look on his face.

EDDIE
No, just get over here and I’ll
explain everything to you when you
get here.
ZACH
Ok, I’m on my way.
Eddie hangs up the phone and sits down at his computer. He
searches for the name of the club where they had last seen
Carlos and Rex. The Penthouse website come up.
ZACH and EDDIE leave Wisteria Lane and head back to the spot
that they had last seen Rex and Carlos.
ZACH
So, what’s this plan you’ve got?
Zach looks to his right and waits for a reply from Eddie who
is lost in a heavy thought.
EDDIE
Well, If we want to really stir the
pot, we have to get our hands
dirty. You know what I mean.
ZACH
No, but I’m sure your going to tell
me. Right?
EDDIE
That’s right. I’m going to find
some dirt one these bastards, and
Rex and Carlos will be gone for
good.
ZACH
Why would you want to do something
like that, break up marriages and
shit.
EDDIE
More room for us my friend, more
room for us.

ZACH
So we are going to actually go into
The Penthouse club?
EDDIE
yep!
ZACH
Then what?
EDDIE
Well, I’m going to go in, and your
going to stay in the car and wait
for me. We can’t both be see in
there. Someone might recognize us
together.
ZACH
Oh, yea, great plan. You get to
have all the fun and I get to sit
in the freaking car. Thanks man.
Zach pulls the car up to The Penthouse and looks over to
Eddie as if to be waiting for his next instructions.
EDDIE
Wait here, don’t move I’ll be right
back. (beat)
ZACH
Ok. Hurry the hell up.
Eddie exits the car and walks into the club.

Eddie slides back in his chair and waits for Edie to come
out on stage. He glances around to see if anyone from
Wisteria might be sitting in the crowd.
Edie walks out onto the stage and immediately recognizes
Eddie. Eddie try’s to cover his face with his jacket but
there is one stage light that has illuminated his face.
Edie turns around and walks off stage. Eddie jumps up and
runs out the front door of the club.
ZACH
So, at least we know her name now.
We should go back.
EDDIE
What? Are you crazy. We’ll go back,
but we have to rethink our plan. We
have to find out who this Edie
bitch is. Maybe we should ask REX
and CARLOS!
ZACH
Look man, I didn’t drive all the
way out here for nothing. We need
to go in there and talk to her.
What’s the worst that could happen.

EDDIE
No man, let’s just go back home and
i’ll look her up on the internet or
something.
MARY ALICE (V.O.)
Eddie and Zach where now nose deep
in adult business. Eddie would have
to man up to try to stake claim on
the women that longed to be with
since he was nine.
Eddie and Zach leave the Penthouse club and head back to
Wisteria Lane.
ZACH
Why do you think she ran off stage.
That means she must have know who
you are, right.
EDDIE
I don’t know, but if she did
recognise me then that means that
she’s been around here before.
ZACH
True.
EDDIE
And, If she’s been around here
before then that means that she’s
probably been to either Rex or
Carlos’s house.
ZACH
Man, could you imagine the look on
those guys faces if we busted them
cheating.
EDDIE
Exactly.
ZACH
Maybe she’s seen you working at
Bree’s house or helping Mrs. Solis
in the yard.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 21.
EDDIE
Maybe. Could you imagine if I was
working and Mr. Van Da Kamp was
inside with some stripper the whole
time. I couldn’t live with myself.
ZACH
Yea, that’s messed up.
EDDIE
You know Rex has got some crazy
fetish with whips and chains and
shit.
ZACH
What? No way. (beat)
EDDIE
Yea, he’s into bondage and crazy
shit like that, so it would
surprise me if he was banging
strippers too.
Eddie and Zach search the web for any information about the
mysterious stripper woman that recognized Eddie at the strip
club.
BREE
Your up early. Couldn’t sleep?
REX
Nope, just wanted to wake up and
cook you something to eat. Eggs and
Bacon your favorite.
BREE
Wow, thank you honey. I knocked out
last night. How was your poker
game. I tried to wait up but I
wanted to get some sleep. I’ve got
alot of work to do today.
REX
Oh, the game was ok, the guys
decided to call it quits early so
we all kinda just departed our
seperate ways.

BREE
Oh, ok. What time did you go to
sleep last night?
REX
uh, about 12:00
BREE
After we eat, remind me to call
Eddie. He’s going to come over and
help out with some work around
here.
REX
Like what, we don’t need any help
around here.
BREE
Rex! You know I’ve been wanting to
work on the garden, and you never
finished painting the garage
either. Eddie is a good kid and
we’ve already made plans for him to
be here today.
REX
I don’t know Bree, something isn’t
right with that kid.
BREE
Just because he comes from a broken
home doesn’t mean we should treat
him bad, he’s a good kid and he
means well.
REX
Yea, well I’ll be keeping an eye on
him.
Rex and Bree sit at the kitchen table and eat their
breakfast. Rex knows that if Eddie comes over things arn’t
going to go well.
MARY ALICE (V.O.)
Sometimes lying is the easy way
out, but covering up the lie can
lead to problems that far exceed
the original lie. Rex is now faced
with challenge of keeping his
little white lie from Bree and
Eddie is determined to call Rex out
and complicate his life even more.

BREE
Ok, no rush. I just wanted to make
sure your still coming over.
EDDIE
Is Mr. Van Da Kamp home?
BREE
Yes, he’s here. You want to talk
with him?
EDDIE
No, that’s ok, Just tell him I said
Hi, and I’ll see you soon.
BREE
Ok, bye bye.
Bree hangs up the phone and sits back down at the table with
Rex.
BREE (CONT’D)

REX
(V.O.)
Yea, it’s me. Rex!
CARLOS
(into phone)
What’s going on, I’m trying to get
some sleep over here. What do you
want?
REX
(V.O.)
Do you know that kid Eddie, he does
work around the house sometimes.
Lives down the street with that
drunk, Barbara.
CARLOS
(into phone)
Yea, long haired kid, rides the
bike around looking for work. What
about him?
REX
(V.O.)
He came over this morning, early.
Said he new what we did last night.
Where we went and everything. Kid
had to nerve to try and black male
me even. Now he’s coming over to do
work for Bree. I’m shitting man.
What should I do. I can’t let this
kid ruin my marriage.
CARLOS
(into phone)
First of all, calm down. He’s a
kid. Secondly, if you don’t handle
that shit, I WILL! Don’t let that
situation get out of hand because
my wife is already pissed off that
I stayed out all night. All I need
is for her to find out we were with
strippers all night and I’m
through.
REX
(V.O.)
Exacly my point, so now you see why
I’m so concerned. This kid has

CARLOS
(into phone)
Handle it! I’m going back to sleep.
EDDIE
Fine, Ms. Van Da Kamp. So, what did
you need help with today. I’ve got
some extra time today, but I’ve got
some things to do later this
evening. Is that ok?
BREE
Sure Eddie, Whatever works for you.
I’ve got a new garden I’m working
on, you could help me with that.
EDDIE
Eddie and Bree walk to the backyard to a small garden. It
has weeds growing in it and obviously hasn’t been worked in
quite some time.
BREE
This is it right here, just pull
out these weeds and get the soil
ready for planting. I’ll be back to
check on you in a bit.
EDDIE
Ok.
Bree walks away and Eddie bends down to start pulling weeds
from the neglected garden. He looks back to catch Rex
peeking out of the kitchen window. Eddie smiles and contines
to pull weeds. He picks up a hand sized hoe and starts to
plow the dirt vigorously, continuously looking back.
26.
BREE
I’m headed to the Home Depot to get
some plants and fertilizer for the
garden. I’ll be back in a few
minutes.
REX
Ok.
BREE
Eddie is outside working on the
garden for me, so by the time I get
back it will be ready.
REX
Yea, great honey take your time.
Rex sees his opportunity to get even with Eddie. Bree leaves
and Rex walks out the back door to greet Eddie with unopen
arms and a balled up fist.
REX
(pissed off)
So, now that Bree is gone, your not
so tuff now are you?
Rex grabs Eddie by the neck and picks him up off the ground,
lifting him off the ground and slamming him up against the
fence.
EDDIE
You know Mr. Van Da Kamp your not
as smart as you think you are.
REX
What the hell is that suppose to
mean. I should kick your ass right
now.
EDDIE
Well you see, Not only do I know
what your up too, but now I have
proof that you like to beat up on
kids.

REX

EDDIE
Look over there.
Eddie looks over to his left and Rex follows suit. He peers
over to the Youngs house and Zach is standing in the
backyard filming them with a small video camera.
EDDIE (cont’d)
See Mr. Van Da Kamp, I’m always one
step ahead of you.
Rex let’s go of Eddies neck and he falls to the ground. Rex
looks back to Eddie as he picks up the small hoe and
continues to till the ground, preparing the garden for when
Bree returns.
EDDIE (cont’d)
Now if you don’t mind, I’ve got to
have the garden ready for when Bree
get’s back.
REX
That’s Mrs. Van Da Kamp to you.
EDDIE
Yea, Whatever.
Rex walks away just as Bree is pulling back into the drive
way. She get’s out of the car and calls for Eddie.
BREE
Hey Eddie, you want to grab that
stuff out of the back seat?
EDDIE
Sure.
Eddie grabs the bag of fertilizer from the back seat and
carries it to the backyard, setting it down near the garden.
EDDIE (cont’d)
Bree, I’m going to take a break if
you don’t mind.
BREE
Sure Eddie, that’s fine. I’m going
to go inside and take care of a few
things. I’ll meet you back out here
in a few.
28.
ZACH
Dude, What the hell. You must have
really pissed that guy off. He
almost pounded your ass.
EDDIE
I told you it would work. Did you
get everything on camera.
ZACH
Yea.
EDDIE
Good. I’ve got to go back over
there and finish the garden for
Bree, but stay close in case some
other stuff goes down.
ZACH
Ok, I’ll be right next door.
Eddie leaves Zach’s and heads back over to Bree and Rex’s
house to finish the garden work.
Bree meets Eddie back at the garden and they both work to
finish up. Eddie ask Bree about the Solis’s.
EDDIE
Bree, I was wondering if you could
call Gabrielle for me and see if
she needs any work done too. I’m
looking for a few more jobs to do
this weekend.
BREE
Sure, Eddie I’ll give Gabrielle a
call and see if there is anything
you can do. I’ll let her know your
trying to make some extra cash.
EDDIE
Thanks, Mrs. Van Da Kamp that would
be great.
29.
BREE
(into phone)
Hey, Gabrielle how are you today.
I’ve got Eddie over here and he
wanted to see if you had any handy
work for him.
GABRIELLE
Well, Let me talk with Carlos real
quick and see what he has to say.
REX
(under his voice)
I don’t think that’s a good idea.
BREE
Quiet Rex, I’m on the phone.
GABRIELLE
Carlos says to send him over. I
won’t be home but Carlos will be
here. He say’s he’ll be waiting for
him. Have him come to the back.
BREE
Ok, Great. I’ll let Eddie know.
He’s finishing up my new garden and
then I’ll send him over there.
GABRIELLE
Great, I’ll talk to you later.
Bree hangs up the phone and walks back outside to tell Eddie
about his appointment with the Solis’s. Rex walks away with
a smirk on his face, shaking his head.

gone, but Carlos said that he had
