’s Mythical Travels with Bigfoot

For years we have been wondering if bigfoot is real and now it’s time to prove it, with

over 2,000 of the creatures living in the country (Forensic). Also known as sasquatch, bigfoot is

a hybrid between ape and man. According to this article, it is said that “bigfoot is shy and

nocturnal, and their diets consist mostly of berries and fruits” (Forensic). Also in another text, it

says that for hundreds of years there have been sightings in North America and all over the world

( Blitz). And if You don’t believe in bigfoot, you still can’t deny that there is solid proof out

there involving his existence like photos, eyewitnesses and footprints.

People have believed in bigfoot for a long time now and for good reason. There have

been sightings by hundreds of people in recent years. Just in the Northwoods in Wisconsin, this

article says that there have been 73 sightings since 1970 (Bigfoot Sightings). If there has been

that many sightings in one state imagine how many there has been all over the country, like in

this piece of writing it says that there have been more than 10,000 sightings of bigfoot in the last

50 years in the U.S.(Musto). So what this means is there are at least 200 encounters with bigfoot

each year, and more than one-third of the encounters are in the Pacific Northwest, mainly

Oregon (Musto, Julia). If you can’t bring yourself to believe these thousands of people, you still

have to look at the many photos taken of this elusive creature.

Bigfoot is out there and there are photos to prove it, like In Oct 1976 a man by the name

Patterson–Gimlin took one of the most reviewed pieces of film in American history, the article

says that Patterson was filming a video about bigfoot and two minutes into the three and half

minute film he got an ape-like figure across the stream in north California woods ( Blitz ). When
Petterson was asked about the film he responded with, “It walked upright and for quite a long

way. It didn’t look like a bear. I’ve been in the woods my whole life, there’s no doubt in my

mind at all what it was.” One of the most recent photos was just taken late January of this year,

by a traffic camera on the side of the highway the article says that the figure was walking by a

tree and seemed to be unhuman like (Guzman). All of this is visual evidence supporting this

claim.

Even if you don’t believe in the pictures how can you explain the thousands of footprints

spotted over the country? There have been hundreds of footprints out there that are so unusual

that they very well could be bigfoots. According to this article, it says that Investigator Jimmy

Chilcutt who has been putting these footprints on scrutiny for years “says one footprint found in

1987 in Walla Walla in Washington State has convinced him that Bigfoot is real” (Forensic).

And something a little more recent is when a man found footprints in his backyard in Cleveland,

he claimed: “they are not human nor animal but possibly evidence of Bigfoot”. Sources say that

the footprints were 13-14 inches (“Somebody's Got a Bigfoot”). And with that said there is lots

of evidence to prove bigfoot's existence.

But even with all this evidence some people still may not believe in bigfoot. Most people

say there may be photos but none of them are high enough quality for us to actually tell what

they are, and they are probably just fake like the ones about ghosts and aliens( Blitz ). Yes, that

may be true, but the photos show something that is too big to be a human and we can tell it’s

nothing like we have seen before. And many people just like Patterson–Gimlin have said they

know what they saw and it’s not like thousands of people will be making up the same lie since

the cavemen ( Blitz ).

As you can tell there are many pieces of evidence to prove their existence like the

eyewitnesses, photos, and footprints. So with that, all said, It’s time to prove their existence once

and for all. And with all this evidence and thousands of claims to their existence, you should start

believing.
