I sat happily at the back of my father’s car. I was on my way to my 1


first camping trip. Besides my own family, my aunt, uncle and two
cousins were also going.

Before long, we arrived at the campsite. My relatives were already


there. I waved to them happily. After unloading the stuff, my father and 5
uncle pitched the tents before the night fell. While my mother and aunt
prepared dinner, the three of us, the boys, gathered firewood in the
forest nearby.

By four in the evening, the three tents were up and a pot of soup

During the school holidays, John’s parents took him to Australia 1


for a vacation. This was to reward him for his excellent performance during

They decided to go to the Gold Coast in Australia. They visited various

The most memorable event was the hot air balloon ride. John and his
