“Shoot a Short” inauguration held in Trivandrum

A bevy of Malayalam Film industry stars descended in Trivandrum city

on 23rd June, 2019 to attend the inaugural function of “Shoot a Short”
presented by Ambient Academy. The five days long film making
workshop was conducted by Mr. Raveendran (Actor, Script Writer &
Festival Director).

This remarkable event inaugurated by Dinesh Panickar (Producer &

Actor), Kochu Preman (Film Actor), Anwar Sadik (Playback Singer),
Sajan Surya (Cine – Serial Actor), Ramesh (Cine – Serial Actor) and P.
Promod (Mannara Ward Member).

This 5 days film making workshop provides in-depth knowledge in

DSLR film making, understanding camera, recording and dubbing,
sound in cinema, continuity and dialogues, performance in cinema,
screenplay writing, color grading, special effects and music production.

The main concept of Ambient Academy is “A Media Campus with Film

Park” is having vast area within the campus in which students can
explore and achieve their dreams by utilizing the resources within it.
They provide film making courses on visual effect, sound engineering,
audio and video editing, photography, cinematography, direction,
scripting, action, modeling and anchoring. All these courses will be
taught by the promising personalities in film industry. Apart from this,
every month one of the prominent personalities will come for giving a
wonderful inspiring session based on these courses.
Mr. Remey Dharmaraj, (Founder & CEO of Ambient Dreams) formally
welcomed all the dignitaries present on the dais and participants from
various parts of the country. He is best known for music composing,
sound designing, album composing and did more than 1000 projects in
films, albums, jingles, advertisements, and karaoke etc. He mentioned
about the significance of this workshop and its aims about bringing
together a core group of talents from all over India with a significant
participation from our own state, Kerala.

In his address, Mr. Firoz Seethi Sahib, (Co-Founder & COO of Ambient
Dreams) who is well known in film industry as short film director,
album director & script writer, described the importance of this
workshop in film making fields and how they are interconnected and
proves to be an exposure to the new talents. He owns an institution in
Keltron. He motivated everyone to actively participate in the workshop,
to get benefited and inspired the participants for proving themselves
academically rewarding.

Remey Dharmaraj is awarded for the Excellence in Sound Designing and

Firoz Seethi Sahib is awarded for the Excellence in Creative Direction
by ‘Malaysian Dreams’, Pravasi Malayalee Federation and APJ Abdul
Kalam International Lover Federation which held on 29th March 2019 at
Kaula Lumpur, Malaysia.

To the end, Mr. Mohamed Azeem (Co-Founder & DOM of Ambient

Dreams), who worked in esteemed organizations like Hilton Gardens,
Chysalis Communication, Al Khoory Hotels as prominent roles, offered
a vote of thanks to all dignitaries on the dais. He thanked all the invited
guests and participants for gracing the occasion by their solemn
presence and announced the upcoming film workshops which will be
held by next month. He also thanked Mr. Raveendran for providing all
kind of support to conduct such workshop in Ambient Dreams.
