These fun rhyming robot puzzles are great for helping kids to spot pictures that rhyme.

Instructions

Print the rhyming robot puzzles on cardstock or laminate for durability.


Cut out the robots. I usually cut around the rectangle edge to save cutting time, but you could cut around the actual
robot if you wanted to.
Lay out the puzzles, then get the kids to say what each picture is and to find the other picture that rhymes. Then say
something like “cat, bat – cat and bat rhyme”.
This activity is for children who are learning to identify words that rhyme. Once the kids can do this, you can see if they
can think of other words that rhyme with each pair. For beginners, get them to complete one puzzle set (color) at a time.
